100% true! 12GB at @325msrp that's perfect for mining! and it will be able to mine for years with 12GB.

12GB seems like overkill for mining, at least on the current most profitable algorithms. 
3090 only gets ~25% more performance than 3080.

Will it actually even be ~$330ish? The tariffs increased prices on the other cards, I kind of would think we'd get a bump on this one too, unless it was already factored in. I don't really like the idea of paying so much more either, I think maybe I'll wait out the 3000 series entirely after all, and aim for a newer build either later this year or next year, hopefully with the pandemic a memory.

Then what were all these others built for?,  Beta testers?

NVIDIA Website says late Feb will be available so I would assume EVGA/ASUS etc..... will follow suit.

I find it funny they introduce the new 3060 12gb, but yet can keep current cards in stock.

I'm sure part of it has to do with binning of chips by performance. A large part is [gestures at everything 2020-21].

Come on EVGA HELP YOUR CUSTOMERS OUT, give us a chance to get 1 card here! You're not helping us by keeping the date a secret, The bots don't need to know the date & time they will check every minute of every day.

EVGA is under NDA, so they aren’t going to break the NDA just to make some folks happy.

Oh they're making some folks VERY happy, it's just not their customer base .

NVidia sets the rules of an NDA, so there forums are also open for complaints on this topic.

I’m sure as release day approaches you will know. Bits aren’t getting these on EVGA as they’re doing the waitlist deal. It’s not a perfect system but it’s better than what most are offering. Best Buy’s system of a queue is also great. Newegg is apparently doing something soon too.

EVGA should make mining specific cards so regular gamers can actually buy a GPU. 

Any word on the waitlist? would love to get my hands on this before the scalpers and miners do

SO  nvidia spent months telling us all how 10 gigs was enough for most all of the cards  - along with all the reviewers saying the same thing.... & now they release the lowest end card w/ 12 gigs !?!?  
 
THis gen release of  30xx series cards has made absolutely NO sense so far....  
 
I can assume the new 3070, 3080 cards with increased memory count  will be announced soon too ?? - SUPER- Ti  or whatever ...

Not doubting you but can you provide links to any ads or post where they are pushing 10 gigs? If you can then that will completely change my perspective about EVGA.
