So it releases 9am PST on the 25th in the US but does anyone have the time it will release in EU?

Forgot the queue for EU, just go asking your closest stores like Amazon...

€500+ for the lowest tier of RTX 30 series cards, with only a 20% improvement over the RTX2060, this is an awful deal if you don't get it from EVGA at msrp.
 
Might as well skip the 30 series entirely and wait for RTX 40 series to be released.

Did you also wait in queue for your 3070, and if so, when did you sign up and how long did it take? Thanks in advance.

I have now not read through the whole thread. I hope that there will be Resizable BAR support for AMD 3000 cpu series later. Currently, I don't see any reason to upgrade my Ryzen 9 3900x in Germany. Otherwise: 12gb vram yes nice, but since I already have rtx 3070 (and possibly at some point through step up 3080) I'm already served. Apart from what the availability and price of the rtx 3060 will be.

You would have no reason to get a 3060 if you already have a 3070 and can step up to a 3080. I for one will not pay more than a card is worth, ie: sellers on Amazon asking 1200 dollars for a 3070, kiss my ass....LOL....I am hoping I can get one of these quickly on avail date as my new build has been complete now for 6 months, minus my GPU. I have been in the que for a 3070 since OCT last year, absolutely horse**** imho. Bitter, yes I am!!!

Pretty high prices. I can only speak for the German market. Here the 3070 was available throughout. The price was of course well above nvidi's RRP, but let's be honest, that's the market economy. Supply and demand set the price. In December 2020 I bought my rtx 3070 for 739 euros. From stock, fast delivery. Everyone said to wait, prices will go down. What happened, the prices went up. The same 3070 was recently available for 900 euros (and the trend is rising). Now, of course, you have to consider that we pay considerably higher prices here in Germany than in the USA. Just an example of a current notebook. In the USA it costs 1799 dollars and in Germany 2299 euros! According to American prices, I would immediately take the 1799 dollar notebook, woot only 14xx euros, take my money! (Customs, VAT, thanks) But back to the 3070: I paid OK more for myself and got the card quickly.

Well I don't want to get off-topic, but I signed up for the notifications for the EU version of EVGA, but I'm not in a queue? Didn't know the queue wasn't available for the EU, strange that they let me sign up for it. This is unsettling.

All this big news for gamers ya right this is not going to be available and even if it is it will be nowhere near the suggested retail price
they keep jacking us gamers up about all this new stuff and they cant even supply the old stuff that they should be able to
crank out by the 10's of thousands. What there going to do about it nerf the cards for dataminers oh "come on man" that
ain't going to do diddly squat to the demand.

Yes very true. The prices I'm currently seeing approach 500,- Euro, which basically means the rtx 3060 is just as expensive as the 2070 super of last generation. Do you know what the funny part is? They are similar in performance. So your actually downgrading at this price. I blame crypto.

Nah, more VRAM, lower power usage, newer feature set (although not much, I think just Resizable BAR).
This is assuming the 3060's performance is equal to the 2070S.
 
Worth waiting 1.5 years for?  No, but still better at the same cost.

I just pre-ordered the EVGA RTX 3060 XC 12GB on amazon. There were over 30+ available and only lasted a minute.

Today at 3:06am amazon charged my credit card. I think they should be shipping soon.

The black will most likely be $380.  Add 15% to their base price.

 
NewEgg has 3060 XC GAMING, 12G-P5-3657-KR listed at $400 (not uncommon for their prices to be $10 higher than others) and 3060 XC BLACK GAMING, 12G-P5-3655-KR listed at $330.

Seems pretty rough to spend $400 on an AIB 3060 instead of a 3060Ti FE for the same price.
