The MB has a 8 pin connector and a 4 pin connector at the CPU . The PSU has only a 8 pin at PSU (marked CPU1), where do I get the power for the 4 pin connector. The PSU also has a 28 pin connector
(marked MB) at the MB end of the connector the cable has a 24 pin connector. My question is where do I get the 4 pin CPU connector ?

    Welcome to the EVGA Forums,

you probably do not need both the 8-pin & 4-pin for the CPU ... the 8-pin should be enough

your manual probably lists the 4-pin as optional

All depends on what you want to do & your hardware

I'm thinking your not into heavy OC of your CPU or you would have bought a bigger PSU

TNX Cool GTX : I have done overclocking but I have not bought PSU's & MB's before. I should have studyed more before I bought. I get it. More money more connectors !

As stated by Cool GTX, the 4pin PSU connector is normally for providing extra power for overclocking stabilty and just the 8pin should work fine, up to a certain point, and you may not even wanna worry about it if you're not gonna overclock the CPU.

However, adapters/extension cables are widely available such as an 8pin CPU to 8+4pin CPU Adabpter or a Molex to ATX 4pin Adapter that will work.

You could also check CableMod and see if they have the correct 'Y' cable you need for your specific PSU.

Returning/exchanging, if you can, and getting another PSU with all the needed cables/connectors would be best.

I heard that all I need at the MB is the 8 pin. The COMeap  looks like it would work but wouldn't it split the voltage or power , what good would that do. I don't know ! ! !

UPDATE : Thanks Bob16314 , I used the Molex to ATX  4pin Adapter . Turns out they  (an Amazon parts vender) sent me a defective MB. I returned it today , it was very easy and got a full refund around midnight. Thanks every one for your interest, help and response .
