Haha , i like the colored stuff.. Couldn't see myself running anything but colored liquid ;). I had green in it before and ran that for a good 6 months to a year. when i flushed it with de ionized water and added the gpu in etc the cpu block looked clean. Haven't had any issues with the ek premix cryofuel. But we're going to get to the bottom of this.. Besides ordering a second nemesis 360 gts , ordered a xspc g 1/4 sensor with a led display ,mayhems x1 blood red (guess we'll try out something rated better). thermal grizzly kryonaut incase that cpu block needs to be removed/taken apart. Ek also has a bunch of vardar f4-120er fans on clearance for like 7 bucks so 6 of those also.. Is there anything else that could possibly be needed or that would help? Didn't order a flow sensor cause the distro has one built in , who knows if it's correct though...

Well, I'll be watching this to see what happens.  Been planning to add another rad to my current 1x 360x30mm Alphacool config, but more to get loop temp down under heavy loads.  My understanding is the HC blocks don't run nearly as cool as the 3rd party ones for some reason and that the temps you're seeing now (which are similar to my own, though mine is a FTW) are normal for a HC block vs. 3rd party ones.

I've not had good results using ek pre mix in the past. Prob 7 years ago or more. Only lasted not even 6 months and that was there clear fluid haha.

The mayhems xp clear is what I've been using since and its great.

I've heard the blood red stuff will clog over time. Made and used for show builds. Short term rigs.

They do have safe colors.. usually blue. Colored lines could be an option.

Also its know the evga HC blocks kill flow. Very tight. Using that with a tight flow CPU block sounds yummy.

Doing the same haha. Though 2x dual D5 pumps single loop. Flow still not great but cant complain on the flow going threw 2x ek 60mm 360,2x ek 60mm 480 and a 520 rad.

Room temp and idle temp the same. Basement usually 64-70f. Max kingpin GPU load tempt 32-34c while benching or gaming. Rads with push/pull fans at 100%.. maybe 75% cant remember.. been awhile.

That's wild! I ran the solid green ek fluid for quite a while and never lost any color. But i swapped over to the 3900x rig so wanted to go amd red haha. This is what i ordered for fluid https://www.performance-pcs.com/water-cooling/watercooling-fluids/watercooling-fluids-additives/mayhems-x1-coolant-1-liter-blood-red-mx1br1l.html.
The cpu block i'm using is this one  https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-velocity-amd-rgb-nickel , supposedly low restriction? Used this distro block https://www.microcenter.com/product/606434/maingear-apex-ics , the pump throws 960 l/h , seems like that's more then enough power for the blocks and 2x nemesis 360 gts rads (30mm) Gpu temps seem to be the 48-50 under load , but my cpu temps have went up to hitting 60ish spikes in gaming while average 49-50c.. before i generally gamed around 34-40 on the cpu. The goal is basically 45c max on gpu , and to get the cpu back where it was before. I guess if the extra rad etc doesn't fix it , then i'll have to suck it up and buy another pump/res and dual loop them with a 360 rad for each?

Update time! So all the parts came and everything in put together... What a NIGHTMARE... The distro block made it the biggest PITA... i ended up using one of the screw threads on top of it and mounting it to the top of the case..  Temps are great so far.. 43c max on gpu and 48c on cpu after some of the air settled. so i guess it's safe to say it was lack of radiator space. Right now the bottom rad is intake. top rad is exhaust with side intake also. Water temp at idle right now is 25.2c , Attaching some pictures. Any suggestions or recommendations or changes to make?

Bro the hydro copper blocks are trash. I been going back and forth with them for 4 months now. Heres my story. I bought a rtx 2080 super xc ultra and bought a hydro block for it installed it according to their instructions. Instant overheat pc kept shutting down installed block about 5 more times even with help from evga support and their video on youtube. I ended up with 4 defective blocks the last block on my last attempt actually squished the thermal pad between the back of the gpu and metal plate so much the transistor on the back broke through the edge of the thermal pad and touched the backplate and smoke was pouring out of the case in a hot second. Trashed the card and bought a evga 2080 super ftw3 hydro copper thinking hey its got to work since they installed it from the factory, hah joke on me i have to lower game settings and lower resolution on my 4k screen and force vsync to keep it from overheating. You may be thinking oh this guy just doesnt know what hes doing or my loop is bad but its neither because my buddy got a 2080 super gigabyte waterforce card and we tested it in my loop and i couldnt get the damn thing to run hotter than 42c so yeah evga is the issue and they told me in their email their is no issue with their blocks. They ignore my emails and everything and wont make it right all they want to do is keep making me wait by sending them my blocks and in return send me another broken block. Im so upset about the whole situation its ridiculous. If they dont make it right in the next week which i doubt they will because its been a week now and no email back im going to upload a video for my 2 million sub youtube channel will all my emails between us with install videos and how these blocks dont work. Its sad to see a company refuse to acknowledge they have an issue. But yeah i feel your pain on it and i recommend ditching the evga block and going ek it seems everyone has to do that especially if you look through the forums you will see alot of complaints about these blocks. Weird part is the comments defending evga makes me think their paid to do it.

EK had an issue with some Asus GPU

Did you know? – Compatibility issues with Strix RTX 2080 Ti water blocks

Very interesting Root Cause ... No idea if this could be the type of issue you are having ? I do not have the Hydro Copper

"A tiny layer of glue is present around the GPU die which interferes with the four closest stand-offs on the water block."
