How do I know I am running the latest bios for 2080ti FTW3 Ultra?

I've been having issues very rarely when the VGA light will come on my motherboard during boot signaling that it was not able to init the gpu. Usually this happens on a cold boot and a simple restart always works after that. I'm thinking that there must be some bios update out there that possibly fixes this? How do I know that i'm running the latest vbios for my card? My power limit is 124% if that matters

    Could be an OC of MB issue Or a PSU issue ?
     
    Are you running separate PCIe cables from PSU to Each socket on your FTW3 ?
     
    EVGA Only changes the GPU BIOS when hardware is change during mfg.
     
    But hey, Your FTW3 has 2 BIOS built into the GPU .................  try the second BIOS position
     
    If you list your PC parts - them members can possible have some more detailed input

    Best way to know if you're running the latest vbios would be to contact evga and ask them directly. I would also recommend updating your motherboard bios to the latest version if you aren't already running it.

    I just called them, they told me that there is really no bios update for this gpu, I have the same one. If there was a bios update it would be thru the driver update?

    No. BIOS updates for GPU are never provided by the driver.  They would be provided by EVGA and EVGA would post a notice and link to the BIOS update. Believe they answer they gave you. They have no reason to lie.

    Yeah that seems a bit harsh in text... they would more likely be wrong...that has happened.

    Hi ComplexDrive,
     
    EVGA does not have a BIOS update for your GPU.  However, if there are any firmware updates, they will be downloaded from the latest version of Precision X1. When opening PX1 for the first time, it may give a notice that there is a firmware update. I can suggest to install and PX1 if you have not already done so.
