In my bedroom I have these 6 scale 1:72 models I have kept as left overs from my 80 part model aircraft collection back in the day I used to build aircraft model kits:

Top to Bottom; Left to Right:

Sukhoi Su-22 Fitter UM-3K
Russian Air Force
"Red 65"
Scale 1:72
Italleri
---------------------------------------------------------
Mil Mi-24 Hind A
Russian Air Force
"Yellow 24"
Scale 1:72
Hasagawa
---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------
MiG-25 Foxbat A
Russian Air Force
"Red 50"
Scale 1:72
Hasagawa
---------------------------------------------------------
Sukhoi Su-24 Fencer C
Russian Air Force
"Blue 03"
Scale 1:72
Italleri
---------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------
Sukhoi Su-21 Flagon G
Russian Air Force
"Red 98"
Scale 1:72
Poineer Models
---------------------------------------------------------
MiG-31B Foxhound A
Russian Air Force
"Blue 07"
Scale 1:72
Revell

And there ya go, everything I have at this moment, I had to swap some around, had to remove the old PVC A380 which had yellowing applied to it, the main cabinet in the living room is going to be for my Boeing 747's & Airliners only, End of January I buy a new Billy with 4 extra planks so I can add two extra planks in the one I have plus 2 extra for the new one, in these all my scale 1:72 jets will be displayed and the books giving me 4 extra cubes for 8 extra B747's or more smaller aircraft, like B787's Concorde's & Tu-144';s for example.

Making space is doable till you run out of it, so I know my collection is nearing it's final completion next year, that I think.
So yeah I'll see how things pack out

That is an impressive collection! My favorite will always be the XB - 70. It was a cool concept that had accidents and lost funding. How long have you been collecting? And I don't think I saw the Airbus A - 320

    Hey thanks everyone

As for the North American XB-70 Valkyrie, a shame they never made it for production.
It would of been impressive to see those in action and during airshow displays

To give you an idea how large that 1:72 scale model is , here I compared it with my Lockheed Sr-71A Blackbird:

Here the belly view, in the middle is where a long range Nuclear missile can be mounted:

It wasn't neatly painted as this was one of the last model kits of the 80+ I made in 15 years time.
This is what my old  collection was like in the old house I lived in with my parents:

    The Soviets:

    The Allies:

Here an overview of my Allied forces and a little dogfight going on, two Soviet Fighters a Mig-29 UB Fulcrum with a Sukhoi Su-33 Seal Flanker versus two American prottype fighters, two Northrop YF-23 Black Widow II's a Black & Gray version.
The Northrop YF-23 Black Widow II is by far my ultimate fav when it comes to ATF's or say Advanced Tactical Fighters

    The Oldies:

These photo's were taken in May of 1999, these days I had around 80 Scale 1:72 model aircraft fighters, bombers, interceptors tankers, freighters to Stealth's everything you could think of
This was the aft half of the room, the other side I had all the Star Wars & G.I.Joe's the large scale ones that are, scale 1:32 if they would be given a correct scale.

like I said before wow my collection got thrown out years ago. Used the burning match trick to put bullet holes in some of the duplicates that I had. My favs were the Supermarine Spitfire, F14 Tomcat, F4 Phantom and the Sepecat Jaguar.

    Ah I see
The Tupolev Tu-22 Blinder B, Tu-22M3 Backfire C, Su-27 Flanker & MiG-29 Fulcrum were my ultimate favs back then, and today the MiG-29 still has a golden place.

My old models broke during the move to the new apartment, mainly due to brittleness and packing them in and unpacking them from boxes didn't do them well.
The six in the bedroom and the five on the main aircraft collection cabinet are the only remaining 11 I have left over from that 80+ part collection of scale 1:72 aircraft model kits, at least some survived.

Well I was mainly in to Russian jets during my modelkit days, they were fun to build mainly the Tupolev's were lots of fun to do, gladly I still have those two

As said I don't build modelkits anymore only diecast airliners mainly Boeing 747's aka Queen of The Skies ;)
brands I used were mainly Revell, Italleri, Hasagawa, Pioneer, Zvezda, ERTL/AMT & Monogram.

Hmm oke, maybe I misread you, maybe not, even I hope I do....

It's that I do have problems, mainly health, mental & economy problems.
Also as being 100% disabled, I just can't buy a new thing every month, as many collectors can even I would find that quite boring to be honest.

There have been many years put in to this collection, as other collections I have gathered over the past 30+ years.
Even though, I do what I can, there is no existence as a trouble free life.
No one is perfect, I don't believe in such fables, yet I have seen many fall for such nonsense.

You misread, talking about me, having over 1800 Warhammer 40k miniatures. AKA plastic crack that both wargamers and scale modelers call their stuff since we get so much of it.  Saying I don't have a problem/addiction. Stop thinking so much into it man haha. I was talking about me not you. If I didn't stop myself from 2006- Nov 2016 by walking away from my addiction hobby. I would probably have over ten to fifteen thousand Warhammer 40k miniatures.  Most of my collection stems from 1987-2006, then again heavily in 2016 to current. Basically meaning I cannot control myself when it comes to plastic space men of the grim dark future....

Just my work area.... Its a mess atm had so much going on with Christmas and over sixty miniatures I am currently working on at once.

    Awesome collection!!!
I have no way to display any of my collectibles I was able to hold on to after losing most of my stuff and my home in the divorce.  I wish I could, but I enjoyed your post, thank you

Well for your information... I have Autism & Dyslexia I don't think I read what I read from my views I misread people , has lots of reasons...
Mostly 99% I do not understand them or I read their comments as selfish or hostile or worse.
So this may explain to you why I may have misread you even I still think the opisite, that is if you get people with my situation, it has utterly nothing to do with thinking.
Also I am Dutch not English either so that too can play it's toll, plus by being 100% disabled and living in limited space I do need to choose.
Plus I also want space for myself over suffering from over collecting ... That is thankfully not happening here and it won't ever start happening here , I know when to stop

Yeah I was talking about me not you, lol. like me saying out loud "I don't have a problem, no not me, no way!", then I buy more. I am having to build pipe shelves in a 360 in my office/workshop room just so I can have everything out, the rest of my years of collectibles, from hardware/cases, star wars stuff, spawn, the matrix, halo, iron man, Hellgate London, and even some fallout stuff is on my industrial shelf in a closet to make room for all my Warhammer 40k stuff. Me I do not have control since I am collecting, and making an entire Space Marine Chapter that is over 1000 space marines alone not including vehicles, or see something cool I like that I do not collect and am like I must have it.  I have a lot of stuff almost four decades worth..

Aah yeah it's okay just many people tend to be blind and assume things that are entirely incorrect when it comes to people like me and that got kind of old for me and sorry for misreading you I just get that a lot with people I think I understand yet I don't in the end.

And thankfully I do have control when it comes to collecting mainly due to limited income and living space, being 100% Disabled you are limited to many things but I do try to make possible on what I can make possible.
I never was interested in Game items, just mainly Aircraft for now, I have items that you don't even see today then again it's never about value or money it's about the item I don't care what it could be worth since I won't be selling on what I have... Afterall it's all about the item and not it's value, even though I prefer quality over quantity as well So yes lesser items can be better than hundreds or thousands.

For my entire collection of everything, well you might want to give this a read:
    https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2030876

As you can see in that topic, I am not all that narrow viewed when it comes to collecting, it's all about variety & quality, but never quantity or value.
Even when it comes to value my items to me have no value as they are irreplaceable making them worth more to me than anything that ever existed so..what are values anyway eh?
Values have no importance, they are only there for the blind eye.

Here my review for what I did for 3dfx and the 3dfx community and the 3dfx Engineering Samples I worked with tested and kept for my collection for a short period of time:
    https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2185131

Anyhow I would like to keep this on topic now that I have fully explained myself of my collecting views.
    Thanks for your understanding.

Just updated the first post, as the total collection goes

Trust me, if I didn't have spending limits, I would have probably everything Games Workshop has ever made and multiples... Came back to the hobby with about 1300 miniatures, have added about 500 since coming back since last year, lots of ebay and stripping, ebay scratch and dent box sales, or I just bite the bullet and pay full or close to full.  The plus side they are so small. Just know only thing I directed at you is you have a nice collection, and I stated that yeah I collect stuff too and go full retard on my collecting. That is the part you are missing the jab was at myself not you. Anyways bud nice collection, you really need to take time and read over stuff again slowly, I have multiple friends that write code that have dyslexia, and are some of the best programmers/coders/setup artist and riggers I know in my industry along with others.  Just slow down take a deep breath before thinking the worst and someone is attacking you, chances are with your condition they probably are not. Especially on these forums, a lot of us have gone fully crazy on hardware collecting and computer setups over the years.  I even remember your sweet GPU collection you have.   Everyone has their thing, me its gone back to Warhammer 40k, guns, artwork, milling metal, cars and tools. But mostly I do Warhammer 40k.  Warhammer 40k took me away from scale model planes and diecast planes in the 80's, even had those plane data cards you put into books, that have all the technical stuff about the aircraft in them Everything from the first planes of flight, to jet fighters, and huge commercial aircraft. Trust me on quality, in 40k you do pay for it, sadly if you want to do an entire chapter you have to deal with quality and quantity combined. Its why most people do not go that far, its one of my bucket list to do items.
    Anyways sweet collection again.

Yeah well thanks for being understanding, not many have been Steam mainly being, kind of went distant from that place.
As for Graphics Cards I kinda done doing those after having well over 800 varied Graphics cards, the only kind of Graphics Cards I collect are the new gen ones Ibuy for my main systems AMD Sapphire & HIS AMD Radeons or EVGA NVIDIA GeForce's all cool here love em both, heck it's all we can choose from.
As for Star Wars Starfighters & Dinosaurs done those as well mainly Scale 1:200 Diecast airliners these days Boeing 747's being the main aircraft type I am collecting as this thread kind of showed :)

The Runner up will be this classic American Airliner:

Pan American World Airways Boeing 747SP-21 from Inflight 200

    Boeing 747SP-21
Pan American World Airways "Billboard Livery"
    N-538PA "Clipper Princess Grace"
    Scale 1:200
    InFlight 200

Awesome collection, take a picture with the LED lights on. That has to look so good at night.

What type of glue is used now?
Back in the 90s the glue pretty much cancer paste.

The nerd in me thoroughly approves of this collection.   Especially the XB-70 Valkyrie and it's Russian copy.

Except the Russians kept flying theirs, we changed it to the B1.

Ah you meant the Tu-160 Blackjack? well I still have that one in it's box, due to my arthritis like pains and my loss in having the patience to build models, mainly I feel pretty much draiend everyday I never started building my Trumpeter Tu-160 1:72 modelkit:

I call the Tu-160 an improvement over a copy when comparing the the smaller and slower B1-B from Rockwell ;)
The Tu22M3 Backfire C I also found more superior, it's not a copy either it's entirely different.

Hey all and today my 14th Queen of the Skies finally arrived so here the photo's I made of this blue & white bird

but as usual here the box, I'll make this an unboxing post so you all have an idea how well it's packed

But I am sure many of you know how JC wings packs things and since this is their latest B747-8I wanted to post this, it arrived in tip top shape no floaters with this one, even when I think of floaters I think of floating dead bodies leeel

Here the greetings & business cards that came with this item, I placed them on the box to make this a neat presentation for Arcunia's product

Great packaging btw @ Arcunia, major thanks for packing this item with the greatest of care

So here's the box, very cool looking love the transition from white to light blue:

    rear:

    sides:

    Here the top protection cover:

And here the HL7638 neatly packed

Full box contents shown here; two baggies with landing gear & gear doors, it's good that you get such options
Thus I flipped HL7638 on her back and the landing gear use little magnets, a good idea tbh, wish more brands did this:

    Rear right:

Closeup of the main landing gear with rear cargo door:

Closeup from the rear of the massive hump

Closeup of the front Cargo door and nose gear

    Final Display for HL7638:

They sure make a good match these two Blue & White Queens of the Sky
