After making those pics I kind of tried out a final display spot for all the others:

The Malasia B747-4H6 9M-MHL "Kuala Lumpur" & TNT B747-4HAF/ER/SCD OO-THA here:

This is where I placed the Korean Air B747-8B5i HL7638 with the China Airlines A330-309 B18305 "Orchid Livery":

Yet this KLM B747-406M PH-BFT with it's Wave Livery remains my all time favoritie so it gets this special spot:

The Lufthansa B747-830i D-ABYL "Hessen" down here with the KLM A330-206 PH-AOA with an Air France B737-528 & an Air Tahiti Nui A340-213:

This is what the entire Aircraft Collection is as of now:

But there you have it, 14 Queens
Mainly by managing to collect the ones I really wanted, hard to come by but nothing is impossible til you believe you can do it and you will want to make your wishes to come out?
Then they will come out

Here a review made by Sam Chui of this aircraft I bought but from the inside and from a First Class Passenger that sat in Seat 1J on a Korean Air B747-8B5 the HL7631.
Steam 1J is in the First Class front section on the right side:

N-538PA "Clipper Princess Grace"
Scale 1:200
Inflight 200 "Limited Edition with Tag"

Inner Box:

Box Contents:

And here pics of the model

Here it's final display:

Here the three new Queens I bought in the past two weeks side by side:

And here the entire aircraft collection display all 19 Queens are in there xD

And that is what I have been doing lately collecting scale 1:200 diecast aircraft collectors models, after selling off all my graphics cards.
Airc4raft modeling is a very old hobby of mine that returned in the form of these diecast models , due to my arthritis building model kits even computers is barely doable for me, so collecting these professionally built diecast models instead I can still enjoy what I used to do in the past, but with far more accurate details.

If more will be added I will gladly add them to this topic, many thanks for reading

Re: Here my Entire Model Aircraft Collection and what follows :) 2018/08/13 18:32:29 (permalink)
Can't afford empty spaces of aircraft I never flown with or friends & Family never boarded on, that is how I collect per registration aircraft I flew with parents family or close friends  on aircraft they worked on maintained flew as pilots or flew with to long distance work locations etc.

It's a very selective collection of aircraft I have something with. this collection took around 3 years to this point, each model varried between 150 to 200+ Eur, some were 90, others were 120, 150 170 even 220+, all depends f it's a rare ir limited edition or a discontinued model and yeah the rarer the item the higher the pice and the higher it's value gets over time making it harder to collect if you wait too long as well.
The North American XB-70 Valkyrie is one of the last models I made it's from ERTL?AMT Models scale is 1:72, to give you an idea of it's sheer size when compared to a Lockheed Martin/Boeing F22A Raptor, well you then get this:

Would of been an ultimate combination these two tbh
A shame USA never pushed on with the Valkyrie program

Here the rest of my scale 1:72 jetfighter collection:

The only thing running through my head is how much you need to clean them, OR else how much dust will accumulate.. No thanks!!

However, I do appreciate some fighter jets ;o wish I could own a real one.

Many thanks for the kind replies everyone

@RushXTC
Dusting isn't much of an issue actually as the the airliners & jetfighters are displayed in dust free enclosures, here some pics showing that:

My father & I modified this cabinet as it had mat windows at first.
Thus we applied translucent ones instead to make this the perfect aircraft model display case for in my living room.

Here closeups of how dust tights these doors are:

And here the cabinets for the jets same solutions but smaller cabinets of course:

So by taking cabinets with doors that seal completely off, you eliminate the dusting problem all together

Yeah thanks guys
And yes exactly that

IKEA is where I bought these cabinets the design was ideal, just modified the glass so it's see through that being mat off white glass.
Normally you put plates or glasses in these or books, I was like gotta change that, now with translucent glass panes and the dust tight doors, I was all  set

Yeah exactly also far less boring as nowadays they are white with a red or blue tail and nothing else fancy.
Back in the old days they looked more classy and the polished metal with the cheatlines, over the less loooking liveries we see today, there are some nice ones like KLM for instance, their Wave Livery is by far one of the best of the modern airliner liveries, we had a vote at the B747 Fan Club and KLM's Wave Livery was most loved,  What a paint job can do they actually made the Boeing 747-406M look new with this ave Livery:

And here in comparison with Korean Air's newer Boeing 747-8B5i:

Just what a simple paint job can do, even that the B747-400 is a design from 1988 as where the B747-8i is from 2011.

Good for them, it's not my interest please accept my values thanks.
Even so I have something better coming than that
John Travolta's V-Jet a QANTAS B707-138B that being, this has greater value than all that fantasy garbage.

Sorry man I only do existing things and not like make believe fantasy stuff, that never got my interest nor attention when it comes to accurate scale model collecting

Re: Here my Entire Model Aircraft Collection and what follows :) 2018/08/22 17:57:22 (permalink)
As promised, here a new total gallery of all my models, all 56 of them including the 20 Boeing 747's @ scale 1:200 it contains
As they the prime aspect of this collection

And a variation of other models as well, variation is never a bad thing when collecting models SST's & MiG-29's are other models I collect, but on a much smaller basis than I have with B747's.

Anyways I always wanted to do a new album, so here it is then
Dunno what I'll do next, after I sold over 50 old computerparts , I added five B747's and two SST's good for 7 new diecast models, now I shall save up for more B747's & SST's I guess haha

Enjoy the photo's tho!

Hey all

Here the 20th B747 Model for my B747 Collection!

Model info:

Boeing 747-251B
Northwest Orient Airlines "Silver Streak Livery from 1971-1987"
N612US
Scale 1:200
J-Fox Models made by Inflight 200

It seems to be a limited Edition of 30 pieces as I read of it, but I can't seem to find any valid information of this :X

Other than that a great model and a must have for all Boeing 747 collectors out there

Here the photo's of the box:

And here of the model:
