Help choosing a PSU for GTX 550ti

Hello.
 
I'm having trouble choosing a PSU, i've been recommended this model EVGA 500w 80 Plus Sata 6 PCI-e 2.
 
The requirements for the video card ar sated as I've been reading but I need more words about it.
 
All my PC components are:
 
AMD FX (tm) 6100 3.3 ghz
Nvidia GeForce GTX 550ti
4GB Ram 1333mhz
Mother Asus M5A 78L-M
HDD Samsung 500GB
 
I'll glad to know if anyone has some similar specs and know if the PSU I want to buy will work.
 
My last PSU was Sentey 600w BXP, it last 8 months until it started to crash sometimes while I'm playing or just when the OS runs.
