Thanks. Ya, I got a few new GPUs to fill empty mobo slots. I see most saying the 20 series aren't much of an improvement in games, but they sure an improvement in PPD

Correct, I have my own team. Nevertheless, I'm having an EVGA card in my folding shed. Thanks all. I guess another type of breakthrough, My team just entered the top 1000, and still quite a while to go, before reaching the top 100 (around 10 months plus whatever those teams gained during this time).

I've had this team since 2008, and grown quite fond of it.
Passed offers to join the folding or curecoin teams, that offer incentives.
Figured I wanted to do this on my own.
Foldingcoin does offer very small incentives for people folding not in their team, but the procedure takes a lot of time to figure out how it works.
With what every team is outputting every month, I would currently be within the top 70; but since I just started with GPUs about 3 months ago, I have quite a few months of catch up to do.
I'm really hoping our efforts will make a difference for future generations; and not that scientists are adding useless WUs in there (basically wasting precious resources on folds that aren't carefully targeted to malformations of proteins).
I'm sure at some point in time, there will be enough processing power available to calculate nearly every possible outcome of folding proteins.

There's a lot of milestones to pass, with 4x RTX 2060 cards, or higher.
I just surpassed 75M PPD, and my user name is positioned in position 5000 of 1,898,681.
My team surpassed the top 1000 last week, and is already on it's way to surpass the top 875 as I write.
I estimate I'll reach 100MIL points beginning next week, my team in the top 500 in about 2 months.
From there on, it'll probably be a slow rise to 1 Billion points. Probably would take me 9 months to a year to get there best case scenario.
