Sadly I have never played Crysis, but im sure it could while using Adobe CS4 Permire Elements, while rendering HD videos
 
im waiting for a 6 Core i7 around $600 to be released then It will be complete

i sure do as well, my file server


currently has 17TB total of storage using a variety of drives, majority of them though are 1TB WD black, couple hitachi 2TB's, and a few 500GB seagates.

and i'll compete for LAN party :P



recently did a little moving around on it and added a cisco firewall :P next on the list cisco WAP

I might know where you can get a nice job moose.... I work in a IT syber security department which over sees the network usage of over 12,000 people and thats just one of three areas totaling over 27,000 people

LOL i don't have any formal education for anything IT.... yet,  everything i've learned has been self taught over the past year which is pretty crazy, before that all i knew was plug this into this and hope it works LOL. next step in my self teaching is on servers, specifically server 2k8 so i can get a website hosted and do cool things with it.  right now i have a server just running active directory for the fun of it LOL.

Im in the same boat, I currently just started college a few months ago and am having most of it paid for while I work for them... self tought+learning on the job+college will have me starting out at $25/hr... im currently making a tad over $15/hr as a student hire

of course it is WD haha, keep it handy for when i'm working on the rack haha.

i really need to go back to school myself, i shouldn't have decided to take a year off after graduating, as i've been out for 3 years now :(  not a bad gig you got there 15 bucks is more than i make as a manager where i'm working LOL, and if they are paying for most of it that sweetens the deal even more.

Yipes, that's really scary. I (no sarcasm/offense intended) can't even imagine having enough data to fill up some of the arrays you guys have. 4 TB I can definitely see, but 10TB? 16 TB? That's absolutely absurd.

What do you guys use all of it for? HD Video can't possibly take up that much space can it? I mean, i can definitely see Hedge Funds and Investment banks using that for storing data, but I'm guessing no one on these boards runs those kinds of companies.

Considering I have a synology NAS with 10 2 Terabyte drives (20 Terabytes, though in RAID 6, so "only" around 16 Tb available), I am really not going to be jealous of you, heh.
