Meet the most powerful 2CPU system in the world this is more than just nice it's the most insane build I have seen!
Also getting world record performance test results in Cinebench R15 x64 & R20, so far I have not seen anything defeat this build.

This system is well known at 2CPU.com a place where all such builds can be seen we also have members with 4 & 8CPU builds to entire server parks.
1CPU i s just too conventional for us, 2CPU and above is just more our thing and it's true every time I see a 1CPU build my mind is like where is my other CPU?

And 1 Year is still nothing for our 2CPU builds, even 10 years is nothing. That is so nice about these builds, their lifespan goes far beyond normal 1CPU configs, especially with things like Vulkan APU or game engiens like Unity, CryEngine 3+, Unreal Engine 4+, Frostbite 3+. Multi CPU / Multi core systems are just are making more sense, the more multicore CPU's per system, the merrier.
They can even last 16+ years and still they can keep up with the latest tech of that time.
And they may cost a lot, but in time they pay you back more than double their actual value and that makes these systems worth building
This is why I prefer 2CPU over 1CPU, multicore or not, that just adds double the fun per node.

Multi core or not 1CPU will always be 1CPU and with two you just have more breathing space, and same with 4CPU only for 4CPU and beyond you need a different case format SWTX or even bigger and for E-ATX 2CPU is most fitting for most AIB case designs, 2CPU is still the most chosen system platform for us 2CPU people.

JayVenturi was one of the first people I met there that really inspired me to make my builds with the most highest quality parts money could buy, we have other 2CPU & 4 CPU builders that do that as well but not as extreme, every  builder has a different setup and being part of such a cliche and exclusive community with numerous 2CPU & Multi CPU builders is something amazing, even to this very day 2CPU.com is still active and every now and then a new 2CPU or 4 CPU system is posted.

The Inspiration is high when it comes to such builds, these systems obliterate everything I seen posted here as well as anywhere else, all the time and effort put in such builds just amaze me time and time again.

    Yet 3x TITAN V 2.0 16GB's + 1 TITAN V CEO 32GB in 4-Way NV-Linked SLI, that this actually works still amazes me.
All due to the various VRAM size, how did you get that working Jay?

It is needed to answer all my email and surf the web...

...and I use it in my doctorate/dissertation on AI / ML / DL NLP for diagnostic imaging, I also take work home with me a lot and that includes nuc med, isotopes, PACS, imaging, and Oracle DB stuff but most of that is remote in work.
I also play games on it - of course!

And on average performance guys around 150  to 160 fps on average in all games in ultra settings @ 4096x2160p yes Ultra 4K,  games are basically peanuts for this system.

Jay & I go back a long way he always had the most fully upgraded builds the moment the hardware was available and Jay already was ordering parts!
And it's just cool to see what a max upgraded system can do how stable it performance under all sorts of programs games and simulations, so GG on that one too

Jay has always been very resourceful when it came to such elusive builds, glad to have ya around bud

I have a large anonymized database for my dissertation, and I do do a lot of work from home because it never ends … but there isn’t any patient data on my machine, wouldn’t want it on it anyhow

HIIPAA is a joke-: Ascension Health sold all its patients” data (6 million encounters) to Google and because they had a BAA with Google, no HIPAA violation…

I’m a fan of the GDPR, much more effective, I wonder when the US is going to take user privacy more seriously?

Hey jay  yea  still alive  I am still doing retro PC rebuilds currently working on a Dual AMD AthlonMP 2800+ Barton rebuild which you can see here:
    https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/3579029

Still needs some work tho I have to send the mainboard to my friend backfire from Vodooalert to reprogram a new Bios chip and the fan header of CPU 1 aka the 2nd CPU needs to be adjusted and reconnected so it can power up the fan for that CPU, such things take time sadly as that my Dual 12 core OpteronMP 6180 SE D1 died during a sloppy mistake by myself during maintenance I am now using a Ryzen9 5900X sadly no 2CPU it's just not affordable for me anymore, inflation made things worse so there is that as well.

Overall my retro PC's is where my true heart lays anyways.

I hope you been doing well though, it took me ages to get my EVGA account working again all because I lost the login password, but gladly I found a note with it written on and yea back again.
healthy wise always have pains so yea  on and off it's fine.

Also could you post a photo of the God Box updated with the Dual AD102-300-A1's just wanna show a friend of mine  :)

I'm about top post pics of my upgraded God Box that was completed about 2 weeks ago, but before I do that, I should post in this thread the updated box that was the in-between.

    the in between build:

2x 3090 Ti RTX Founders Edition & SLI / NvLink bridge2x 8280L, 56/112 cores, Asus c621 Sage Dual socket bios 66051.5 TB ram. DDR4 ECC LRDIMMs 1600W silent digital power supplyouter case (Data drive) 4x VROC Raid 0 Micron 9300 Max (51.2 TB volume) on motherboard (OS Drive) Sabrent Rocket  4 Plus (8TB).case internal 4x Samsung 4TB 860 Pro - back up drives Asus PA32UCG-K monitor,TT SFF case, micro. and heavily modded MS Data Center 2022 (customized) & Ubuntu (customized) Temps are nice and cool, under load the cards have yet to get above 67C.
CPU run at about 41C under load, and RAM hovers at 55C under load.
NVME drives run 28C idle and 49C at the end of a full drive copy.I'm using 1.5TB of ram, LRDIMMS
upgraded to 2x intel Xeon 8280L processors, the L have higher memory management
the 3090 TI RTX in SLI/NvLink
    The motherboard is revision 2.1x
    Bios 9904 with Resizable Bar
C drive is a Sabrent TLC Rocket 4 plus 8TB
D drive is 4 Micron 9300 Max 12.8TB each (51.2 TB volume) using the U.2 connectors - Using VROC premium key
I have built in (hidden in the case) backup of 4x Samsung 860pro 4TB, as well as a network backup to a NAS in the house
Using VROC premium key, direct raid control and paths - please see pics of the WRITE speed of the internal array
Running MS Data Center 2022 as the OS and Ubuntu

with the bios 9904 I was able to multiply and optimize the width of the communication lanes between devices as well as set other important customizations

To make it all work and have that in place it took a complete redesign just to have it look similar to what I had before but a lot of base design was changed.

The dual 3090 TI RTXs sit several centimeters above the board compared to where cards normally rest. This required changing all the mounting points and supports for the cards. The video cards needed a custom bracket to hold them stable as they are several centimeters above the board.
This allowed for 4x u.2 connections for the micron 9300 nvme drives in raid to fit to the board 4x u.2 plugs
The C drive now has a large pure copper heatsink on it as well, under load it only reaches 40C, idle is 26C.
The 3090 TI RTXs also operate about 4-5 C' less than before temps. Under load they really don't go past 69C ever, most game play hover around 57-61C, application DL/ML may run the cards at max around 64-69C. The decrease in temperature is from the additional air channel between the video cards (3.3Cm)  and the motherboard. Other temp decreases were inn the CPU, Ram and chipset.
Machine runs very quietly. Most fans ( including the GPUs) turn off at stable temps (auto settings from motherboard control other fans. CPUs at idle run about 23C (73F) in a 21C house (69-70). Under load they may reach as high as 44C, but not often.
To accommodate the 12.8 TB each 9300 nvme drives, I had to install two cooling fans internally to the design so as to have a quiet airflow over the 4 drives. (see pics)  This keeps the 51.2 TB nvme drives drives at around 39-41C under load and 33C at idle. The fans are quiet and invisible to the outside but I will also include a picture of that design.
There is a picture of a Macrium backup report showing the READ speed of the C drive (Sabrent rocket 4 plus) to WRITE the backup to the NVME raid (Micron 9300 4x) at 50.6 Gb/s

PC runs very silently, nice and cool, on average components under load are basically at body temp (feels organic when described as such).

I hope this answers core questions here is a benchmark post to show some of the capability (of the in-between build):-still first on leaderboard (before I post the new machine's scores, which are higher) https://gravitymark.tellusim.com/leaderboard/

I hope you understand how complicated this really was, I will post the new build (replacing this mid update) with dual 4090 rtx sometime next week
    Have a good weekend J

    Nice score sir.

Well... I would hope the 4090 would perform better than the 3090 series. Individual card benches of my 4090s align with your score.
Also the earlier scores on the post, were on version 1.51 of gravity mark,-  the new version of gravity mark 1.73 (the one you benched and posted here) uses cuda, resizable bar, and many other speed ups/fixes/ optimizations. So I would hope the 4090 is faster and takes advantage of the speed ups. Maybe I should revisit and bench with the new version, been lazy, it requires putting in the prior 3090 Ti back in my rig - too much effort.  Additionally, the ray traced (not raster) run really hammers a single card.

Gravity mark is a decent bench, probably the best, I think it is better than the 3d mark stuff, also 3dmark can't uses multiple gpus. and doesn't scale with high core count cpus, and mostly requires steam etc.
I'm sure there will be a slew of new  4090 benches coming through with all sorts of folks overclocking them to see how high they can go.

However, my old 2x 3090 Ti are in my wife's rig, so maybe I'll try version 1.73 on that PC.

Nice score sir, I suppose you could go higher with some overclocking optimizations.

    on a side note:
Here is where the dual 3090 Ti were passed down to the wife's PC. She uses her PC to be my editor, and I uses it in tandem with my PC for DL / CNN  but her heavy use is her photoshop and Gimp. She plays the Tomb Raiders series, Cyberpunk, Metro series, etc,
We both just finished playing Scorn - very disappointed - waited a long time for that release and it was a big letdown. Spoiler, the ending really sucked

The wife's PC uses the same P1 modded SFF case from thermaltake with the back side hosting her array and PSU. The main difference is a single Xeon and a regular ssd array
here's a pic and a comparison to mine (before the dual 4090 update)

    Where the 3090 Tis went:

you can see the similarity to mine and also the fact that I am used to making this mod, --stick with what you know:

I have not overclocked any of my stuff.
I can, but decided it wasn't worth a benchmark or stability. Plus with what I do with it, overclocking felt non sequitur.

Well to get a higher score on gravitymark you'll need to oc your 3090 ti's. 4090's can't be sli'd.

Lovely build there tho, yet I am curious how you are going to connect to weak power connectors of the RTX 4090's without damaging them, all due to the needed 35 mm of space you'll need to have them connected without snapping the cables thmself:
This would not be worth risking it imo
    https://wccftech.com/nvidia-16-pin-connector-on-geforce-rtx-4090-graphics-card-burns-up-melts-the-cable-plug/

Unless you have a better way of connecting them i am curious on how tho.

Other than that since the NV-Link was removed from the RTX 4090, will you take use of GPU A-Sync to let them work together then which goes via the PCI-E slot like how AMD does CFX via XDMA?
Not sure how this can work in games tho, just curious how that will go, even I do remember you did similar with them four TITAN V's main card was the TITAN V CEO Edition 32GB 4096Bit HBM2 as the other three were3x TITAN V 12GB 3092Bit HBM2 Rev. 2.0 cards soft modded to16GB 4096Bit HBM2 per card, I remember you telling e that a developer from NVIDIA tech support aided you on getting this to work, was back at our 2CPU.com days.

I still miss that place it was lame of Hooz to just shut down out old forum, a ton of good information is lost due to that, he is so lazy and damn hard to get to, HEMI I still have contact with even he hardly manages to get anything from Hooz.
2CPU was our home man, there was not one forum like it (sorry EVGA, I was one of the crew members from 2CPU and that place was everything to me)

But still cool to see you have a 2CPU build going, as for my Dual G34 I will try to bring it back to life, but I have doubts that will go well, I do have a computer parts air duster I can try and se that to remove the dust particles from the G34 sockets unless you have a better idea, even I love my 5900X  1CPU is pretty boring tbh, once a 2CPU user, always one, so yea still something I have to work on myself at some point.

But hey I'm happy I am able to contact you via this awesome forum EVGA forums is one of very few cool places to be part of and I'm glad they kept the forums intact, thanks EVGA team

I see you updated your scores with two 4090’s. I’m guessing gravitymark supports mgpu? I’m guessing the 4090’s don’t work in sli in games correct?

...well, I have made a few profiles that do AFR for games using auti diff SLi... so technically they don't but that hasn't stopped me.

    Imagine if I overclocked ;)
