i had to work hard to get over massman & that gt240...and that was not an easy task at all. water vs ln2
although i did land the 5th fastest card in the world...for 1 day (5970)...rotflmao!

Well, I figured out why they didn't give me the gold cup for reference clock. I used 1.52.2 cpuz and they require the latest which is 1.53.1. Figures right?

same reason why i couldnt post my 5.1 on my old cpu...i had 1.51 and they said it had to be 1.52. i hate when that happens....

My friend and I OC'd a card (mainly me  ) and got 5th place results. I am giving him the chance to get on HWbot for EVGA and post it... but if he doesn't im gonna snatch up that screen shot and take that 5th place for me self

I have been trying to get my 280 stable at something higher than 790 core clock, I have used nibitor to flash different vids to the 3d and extra setting all the way up to 1.4 volts. With more power I now get almost through Jane nash before I lock up. The problem is that I just lock up with now symptoms whatsoever, no artifacting or heat issues and so on. Hoping someone in here knows the symptoms. Oh yea testing at a 100 percent stable cpu/memory setting.

gpu = 1150
system = 1600 @ 1.65
Just tried another run I think its a power issue

What I am trying to get stable with the volt mod are 800/1600/1250 highest I have benched at is 790/1580/1250

You need to remember that you're still working with the 400mhz Ramdac. Lower your memory and your shaders and see how it does.

You're running SLI or TRI SLI. When ever you're running either, best results usually come with lower clocks I've found. The clocks I posted was for my TRI SLI setup and it got me over 36K. If I tried higher clocks I ended up with lower Vantage scores.
