DW is probably correct about the performance degradation of ampere on PCI 3 (intel) vs PCI 4 (AMD).  Time will tell? Will the 11980xe and its platform equiv support PCIE 4 ?

Thanks, I just couldn't let that deal go and I was fortunate to purchase them at that price. They should be here in a few days and I'll get them installed and see what happens.

True statement, But If it's not in great operational/physical condition as listed in the auction, Fleabay states they will refund my purchase.

I am thinking I might just wait and see after the initial release of the RTX 30xx series what the actual Benchmarking Scores will be of the RTX 3090 that supposedly uses a Traversal Coprocessor (that would be used as a sole Ray Tracing Chip) on one side of a weird V shaped dual sided PCB that will be working in conjunction with an Ampere GPU Chip on the opposite side which supposedly is done just to gain more Ray Tracing Superiority.
 

 
In the meantime, I have sold the Two Kingpin Hydro Copper water blocks, But the sale of my remaining Kingpin card has fallen through due to the buyer unable to pay for it (typical Fleabay scenario!),  So after contemplating about whether immediately buying a 300xx series card as soon as they come out (and deal with any memory problems like in the initial release of the 20xx series cards had) and Now realizing that my initial cost of $2200 when I bought the two Kingpin cards + the Hydro Copper water blocks minus $1500 for the sale of the water blocks means that I actually have invested only $700 for both of my two EVGA RTX 2080 Ti Kingpin's, Plus the fact that one of the Kingpins has been RMA'd for a new replacement that is going to be delivered soon.

Well, After the Nvidia 30XX series announcement today, It looks like I'm going to still have some fun times using my 2080 Ti KPE's for a while before the new 3090 KPE's will become available!
 
I told myself this time I will not buy every new 30XX series edition that comes out, Mainly because I don't want to keep purchasing / selling them at a loss.
 
I'll probably just wait for the Big Boy.....But I could be wrong.

Today I managed (somehow) to sell my Last RTX 2080 Ti Kingpin on Ebay for $1100.00. 
 
Didn't think I was going to be able to pull that one off....

I can only image what the prices of a RTX 2080 Ti Kingpin will be AFTER Sept, 17. 

Yeah I sold one of my kingpins a couple weeks ago with the bykski block and ln2 kit on it for $1450 I was really surprised it sold for that.

Probably sell them eventually but for now just leaving everything as is until my health issues are resolved. It's driving me crazy not to be messing around with computer stuff right now. I might end up selling my chiller and just give it all up right now unfortunately.
