This should be entertaining. NOT. LinX just took a giant sh*t on me. I was doing 25000 size with 10 passes. 3.2ghz 1.3v, vtt +350, and i crashed in about 10 seconds. Oh, and it f'd up my RAID, so i have to wait for that to rebuild, which will easily take a couple hours... My stock vcore is 1.27v, just fyi.

The BSOD was IRQL_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL or something like that. And that doesn't help at all b/c you all know as well as i do, that is pretty much the most common BSOD out there...

This could take a while... Oh well. That's the life of overclocking i guess. set, crash, reset, set, crash, reset...lol

Tell me about it, my motherboard with the new Asus bios doesn't accept any higher fsb only multiplier increases, if I go more than 10fsb over it doesn't boot. So do any of you know if swapping my sb650 amd mobo with my sb700 mobo? The main reason why I don't have it like this now is the sb650 mobo was $200 top of the line Asus at the time and the sb700 is low/mid range asus; I guess I'll have to try...

So I have to buy aquamark to use hyperthreading on my cpu????

Hay Regg no you dont need to buy it
If your running in win 7 with the patch (or xp standard)
Ctrl- alt-del after you start aqua open task manager and enable all 8 threads (+ run in real time)
then run aquamark  (you can also run a program like Process Lasso witch dose this automatically)
the hardest part i have is getting a screen shot of the score...dont know why Good luck
Cheers Sniper

Added 100k to score

Reggie, what does this mean...open task manager & enable all 8 threads?  Where in task manager?  Also the picture it saves in the pictures file is a corel paint shop file that I can't read.

When I push print screen it saves in quicktime which I can open. After you start aquamark press ctrl+alt+del and open task manager then right click aqua mark and go to set affinity. Then just pick all cores and you will be running with 8 instead of just 1. You can also set priority to real time, not sure if that really helps though, and my pc only lets me set to high.

Nate flawless job you mind upping a pic of your soldering iron. I got a cheapie you think that will work. Or do they make better ones for smaller solder points. I havent soldered anything in over 10 years.

I right click the aquamark icon in the task manager, but there is no "set affinity" option in the menu?

I found how to save it to paint.  right click on the desktop aquamark icon, select properties, then go to compatibility  tab and check all five boxes.  Now when you hit prnt scrn button you can go to paint and hit ctrl-v to paste the screen shot into paint.

Stupid forums not letting me edit post.... Grrr.. Anyways, I had way too much fun on Google sketchup at 2:30am this morning.

Updated my DICE pot design, steps/holes added. I suppose I could use it for LN2 as well. Note: Some of the holes don't line up perfectly.

Also I took the HD5870 models I had and ripped the stock coolers off, added DICE/LN2 pot for lols.

Also added Dominator RAM to my sketchup case design.

I'm just kidding, John.  It was in reference to where you got the vid cards.  You know, you could do that with on-line sites too, I guess, but then you'd have to pay shipping also.

Looks mighty similar to the koolance cpu-ln2 rev. 2 pot: http://www.koolance.com/water-cooling/includes/modules/image_browse.php?code=972&type=more&nindex=2

Great job though on the modeling! Now you just need to find a place that can mill it out. If you do build this, would the base be copper and the pipe be aluminum?
