thirst for more still doesn't do it justice. I would be benching too, but we finally just got home from the hospital. I could really use some sleep. That chair I slept in hasn't been fun. I am itching to turn on the chiller, and get back to benching!

johnksss what voltage are you using for 218? Vcore.. from 1.475, then 1.5, 1.55, 1.575. Suicide runs voltage. No matter the settings, when I change it to 218, it locks. It doesn't even BSOD, just locks and stays like that.

if it's going to work...you only need 3 things. vcore 1.49 with Vdroop on vtt = 1.50 turbo on qpi = 218 or in your case...try 215 first. boot 215 into windows and then start moving the eleet qpi 2 clicks at a time. and tell me what happens...it could very well be your bios, but also could be co chip or mb. and that's it

Code 124 is a tricky one, mainly VTT too low or too high but it could be also Vcore too low and I guess many things more. you have now VTT +300. That's for my actual board the maximum it will boot, for my 760 classified max boot was only +250 VTT. So like John said also possible the chip, the board, bios.

way too high!! on the cpu vtt that is. try something like +225 to get into windows..then up it from there. just ask overclocker when you see him... up your voltage to 1.59 with vdroop on then try...run something like prime 95 for about 10 seconds with your eleet set to the monitor window so you can see just how much volts you really are using. then you can lower to just above it and play around there.

johnksss who me? im just throwing out ideas to try...that doesn't mean i know more...lol if Halo still uses 16x multiplier+ turbo, he has 17 x 218 = 3,7 GHz and for that he needs around 1.25 -1,3 Volt Vcore. So I guess most of his settings are way too high. I hit the wall with my old C0 965 around 4,2 GHz and only from there upwards I needed more than 1,5 Volt Vcore to get bench stability. But what do I know and anyway it's time for another nicely cold beer.

wizzard1709 johnksss who me? im just throwing out ideas to try...that doesn't mean i know more...lol if Halo still uses 16x multiplier+ turbo, he has 17 x 218 = 3,7 GHz and for that he needs around 1.25 -1,3 Volt Vcore. So I guess most of his settings are way too high. I hit the wall with my old C0 965 around 4,2 GHz and only from there upwards I needed more than 1,5 Volt Vcore to get bench stability. But what do I know and anyway it's time for another nicely cold beer. No I'm using 21x multi. (20x + turbo) Thanks for the help guys, will report back as to what happens when I reboot.
