way too high!! on the cpu vtt that is. try something like +225 to get into windows..then up it from there.
just ask overclocker when you see him...
up your voltage to 1.59 with vdroop on
then try...run something like prime 95 for about 10 seconds with your eleet set to the monitor window so you can see just how much volts you really are using. then you can lower to just above it and play around there.
Tried to boot at 1.59 w/ vdroop at 226 QPI, Same problem. Hangs on the post code F3-F7-F8. (On laptop too now.)

and what bios version are you using..that also can affect your booting higher qpi's as well...

right when you boot your computer, it will flash a code at the bottom of the screen. you can hit the pause key to stop and look (speculation on the pause)

1: downlaod all the bios versions you can find... the ones ending in .iso for your board.
2: burn them all to separate cds
3: install them and try your basic settings and voltage. if you we're meant to boot..one of these bios versions will let you.
side note...your using a 920 c0 cpu aren't you? if so...it could be far harder to boot that higher qpi.

flash drive will work if it's already formatted and ready to go.
just copy all the bios versions in different folders.
then you can boot, switch folders and try a version.
make sure you name the folders under 8 characters

no it's not...that's why i said "use the cd method.
1: get iso file
2: burn it to disc
3: boot computer using disc and the disc will do the rest.
4: reboot and go in bios.. if your using ahci mode..then make sure you switch back..then boot windows.

VISTA?!?! GET RID OF IT!!! Gents, I am checking in for an evening of benching. I get the night watch so I will be up all evening probably way into the early hours. Red light is too much voltage. the tests lock up and the screen freezes when not enough voltage.
