nateman_doo ha! man you better take advantage of that cold weather!! good to know I can use just my 1200. I got the 800W for the extra card. Yeah, just the 1200w seems to be solid. My test report that came with the PSU says it tested at 1346.2 peak power. I don't know how they test these things, but I'm sure if it's asked to deliver a little bit more than that, it would. I have no idea how my 5 rail 1000w enermax made it so far.

In the CPU socket? You dont see that very often unless your running a phase change unit because your not sub zero at all times. Most people say to only PJ the socekt unless your using a 24/7 Phase Unit.

I imagine he took the CPU out and found moisture. I have been cleaning my mobo for DAYS with a dental pic and acetone/alcohol. I am just going to mail it back tomorrow. I have a bunch of foam ordered that will arrive tomorrow so that I can do some prepping tomorrow night, or thursday @ work. I don't recall exactly what the output of my 1200 was, but it was well beyond 1200.

pj all the way. and your socket worries are gone. also...i found that if you dont have the cpu seated correctly...you loose channel 5. same goes for over tightening the screws holding your heat sink or block on. these two things alone case you to have disappearing ram. (from my testing anyway)

That is the same thing tech support said. I loosened the screws for the block, still didn't help. I also remember testing it before any sub zero work with factory cooler. I always test everything before I go through all the trouble of prepping. I am looking into ways of rapid prepping/unprepping, in case of any further incidents.

goofy? INSANE is more like it. depending on how long that thing lasts, he has Ln2 temps whenever we wants them, at all times. Of course it cost him a fortune to do it, but I am sure its lots of fun.
