awalleyeguy Well I got my replacement 759 and confirmed the restarting was the board. Replacement worked a couple hours, then bios checksum error. Now an instant FF did all the tricks that are listed, even swapped bios chips. This sucks. Were you pushing high memory speeds or real tight timings when things started going wrong?

Damn I'm up early. Senior Champs, prelims day one here I come! Edit: lol. Some official screwed my entry for the 50 breast, so I didn't even get to swim this morning. I still have to go back to Finals though, I'm in 2 relays. That really irritates me though, I could have slept in late.

awalleye, you need to update vantage to the most recent release. The old version hanged on physx with 6 core procs.

This is probably more of a question for nate, but anyone who has ideas, feel free to throw them at me. What is the best way to bend metal, in a normal man's workshop? The sheet i need to bend is around 14". It is 1/16" aluminum btw.

Rudster816 johnksss i have a question...how much r507 should be put into the compressor of a phase change? http://www.xtremesystems..../forumdisplay.php?f=80 Assuming you have little, if any, experience in refrigeration, dont charge the unit yourself. Specially if the unit just underwent repairs. Take it to a place that does HVAC, the only thing that separates it from a Air conditioner is the evap. http://i175.photobucket.c...chmarks/23075SMALL.png ok, so what is that link for? nothing directly linking to someone explaining this? im at an ac company and the specs for the compressor are in no way the same you use for regasing for phase. example..your not going to use 14 oz which is what the chart says to use. and i have been all over there looking for the simple answer. which doesn't seem to be an easy one to find.

johnksss i have a question...how much r507 should be put into the compressor of a phase change? you really need a set of compound gauges ,,a running cpu or appropriate load tester, and the knowhow to properly calculate subcooling/superheat basically if you overcharge you'll have liquid slugging, that means that un evaporated liquid refrigerant enters the compressor and will eventually destroy it because liquids dont compress. or youll be undercharged, which results in inconsitant cooling at load ,wild temp variations and an inability to hold a consistant temp at load ,it'll slowly creep up in temperature as time progresses while running.. its possible to charge without anything . basically you add refrigerant in small amount to the low side ,and watch for frost to start forming on the evaperator/Cpu block. if frost forms all the way up the suction line toward the compressor its overcharged. I dont want to say more as it will get confusing ,and i'm not the best at explaining things ,im more of the hands on kinda person. I hope this helped a little . Rob If I were you Id head over to XS forums and ask for help in the Phase cooling section...

nope...that's exactly the type of info i was looking for..it confirms what i already know and have been doing...so far the best we can get it to is -38...and it would seem r507 is rated about what...-40 to -45...so the part im not understanding is..where did vapochill get a -66 from??? since 507 is colder. i talk to the owner and he said to add a high side as well...wish i would have did that when they did the low side...then it would be far easier than the add a tap of vapor then watch it, then turn it off and let sit for about 5 minutes so that it's in the positive and not a negative vacuum..let some out then turn it back on and watch what happens...very lengthy stuff here. i tried getting help from phase builders...they seem to just want to do email.. and then that is a lengthy proccess..grrrrrrrrrrrrr. going to see if i can catch sdumper.... runmc is working on his house so he takes a while to get back at times.
