Thanks nate...pics would be great!  What kind of pump(s) would you recommend for a chiller.  Drewmiester went with the big bad boy industrial pump....do you need that or would the MAG series work?  Inline or submerged?

Will get to running n cards later this week, been "practicing" cpu over clocks been able to run 06 at 4.9 mostly just cpu to see what she needs.
 Have pumped 1.75 into this chip (with v-droop) temps in low 80's ambient room of 24C, so far I am impressed.

Cheep cooler i made out of a potable AC unit  what do you think about the temps guys?

Yea, I know...I felt the same way when Kentsfield was handily smashed by Yorkfield.  Then the Yorkie guys were left drooling over i7.  On thing for sure, technology never stops, even in a bad economy.

John,  It may be too early to tell, but your initial intuition may pan out on whether or not we are losing GPU points when benching with the 980x.  I think for the pros, benching the 980 @5.5Ghz will push GPU's no matter what.  But for us "enthusiasts", benching the 980 at close to the Bloomfield Blck/frequencies, you might be on to something.

My 980x single card GPU = 26k, Bloomfield=26.6k.  980@4.7, 960@4.78Ghz.  GPU clocks w/ 980=825/1260.  GPU clocks w/ 960=845/1280.  The question is once I can get my GPU clocks back up to 845/1280, will it add another 600 gpu points?  I hope so, and I hope it would add a lot more being a six core proc. 

Time will tell...but, then again, by then we will all have Fermi, and no one will care about our beloved GTX 295's!

Just watching that Vantage run must be awesome.  Not seeing that pause in test 2 would bring joy to my life.
