After upgrading to the Geforce GTX 970 ACX 2.0 I get an issue where YouTube videos and sound will glitch for second then return to normal. The glitch seems to happen whenever a new window is opened also. DPC latency checker shows high latency whenever I have the graphics card installed and says some drivers behave bad. Right now I have my old graphics card installed again (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 (MSI)) and everything runs normal. I removed MSI afterburner, clean installed all NVIDIA drivers at least twice, I changed PCE express settings ASPM to off, I changed NVIDIA control panel settings to prefer maximum performance, checked to make sure there was no overheating, I even installed an EVGA SuperNova 850 G2 because I assumed my power supply was the problem. Thanks in advance for the help!

Are you receiving sound/video through a hdmi cable? 

You said the card was overclocked when you got it. Do you mean the previous owner overclocked it?

Okay, I installed the latest sound drivers and did the first two steps of the basic troubleshooting. The problem was happening for the first few minutes after I restarted and installed only graphics driver & physx system. I changed Nividia control panel for power management to prefer maximum performance then I had to step away from my PC for a few minutes. Now that I am back everything is running great. I cannot recreate the glitch and DPC latency checker has everything normal. Thank you so much for the support! One last thing, now windows has two updates that read "NVIDIA driver update for NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970" and " nVidia - Graphics Adapter WDDM2.0 - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970" since my problem has been fixed it would be unwise to download those updates right?

I find it strange that the problem was occurring then stopped. Probably the power management settings needed to take effect...

Yeah, don't get those updates from windows update.
