Hello i bought some parts to build a new pc
Soo far so good, i finished, started and i saw that i get no screen. The fans are not working al the time. i tryed to install another Graphic card also didnt worked. So i wanted to ask you guys if its my PCI slot or is my card broken ? idk how i can help me!

[USED] Ram: 2x2gb von ocz und 2x1gb

Motherboard most likely doesn't support the video card. Time to buy a newer up to date motherboard & cpu.

No problem. Yes, i'm pretty sure that's the issue. What was the other GPU you tried test with?

The fans are designed to idle when the card is idle so it doesn't make noise. As for it not working, do you get any BIOS errors or do you have a speaker on your motherboard to listen to? It's possible the motherboard can tell you what the issue is if you can get a speaker in. Otherwise, it could be anything (CPU/GPU/MoBo/RAM).

do u think a GTX960 will be compatible with an Asus Striker II Extreme 790i Ultra sli??
