I had today off and was watching this website, Amazon and Newegg all day, I took a break around 5 for about an hour, they came up and sold out in that time.

If EVGA would stop selling their cards on Ebay maybe more dedicated fans on the forums would be able to get cards, especially since there isn't a unit limit on Ebay....

I tried 3 times for a FTW3 using PayPal. Failed each time due to insufficient stock. Someone posted they used their credit card and it went through. The SC2's showed they were still available. Used my credit card and it went through. Just got notified the card shipped.

it's very disheartening to see sellers on Ebay with master cartons of cards for sale at ridiculous prices and for dedicated customers trying to buy direct as we have done for years it's like spinning the roulette wheel :-/

Yea, I was unaware that they were selling on ebay as well and had been trying really hard at the F5 roulette on this website =\ .
All I need is a video card to complete my gaming pc and at this point I will settle for whatever 1080 or 1080 ti im able to get at a decent price.
I am an Elite member as well but it is useless for this GPU situation.

I managed to pick up a 1080 ti hybrid. stoked. going to be quite the upgrade from my 470sc's from back in the day.
How did you manage to do that? Every time I get the email that the ftw3 hybrid card is in stock i click the link and its already sold out.

Every couple months I see sites like amazon and newegg, restocking cards and selling them at msrp or just a few dollars more than that. However, I've seen the stock be completely used up within minutes of the posting. I'd recommend signing up for a notification and being ready to buy it the second it comes in stock; especially if you are upgrading your rig.

I managed to snag a 1080ti from evgas store last night. It's unfortunately a matter of pure luck as I just happened to see the "add to cart" button after f5ing this site and instocknow for the past 3 days all day. If you really need a card (like I did as my 970 shat the bed), just be persistent and have your shipping/billing addresses already entered in your account. Best of luck all.
