Looks like oxidation issues too for 13th gen which was fixed sometime in 2023. I bought my 13900k in Oct 2022 so guessing mine has an issue. I had to limit power and undervolt mine months ago to get it stable so guessing mine might have an issue, it's hard to say though as it also just runs hot as balls even under custom water cooling (when I say hot, it's relative, just hot for custom WC, but over 300 watts cpu and over 500w gpu can do that I guess).

I am curious what they will do for the microcode update though...would be nice to get a fix.

Have Intel warranty replace it. No big deal.

I also bought mine in Oct 2022. Mine is still working fine. Man I'm dodging bullets left and right.

I'm still rocking a 12700K/12900K. Z690 had (has?) its own issues, especially upon initial release. Glad I haven't been chasing the "must have the latest & greatest" train, as I seem to have dodged quite a few bullets as well.

Same. Nothing I play shoots my 12900k to 100%. But for people that render, data crunch, etc, I can see why more power is wanted.
