Checkout those clocks/temps after 15 minutes of heaven 4.0 @ 1440p with max settings.

The card is amazing! Blown away by the temps! 100% fan speed on the kingpin is much much more quieter than my 2016 titan x at 100% fan speed. Precision works like it should too.

55c at 1987MHz? Are you sure this isn't on water? Just curious why it's only using 92% of the power when it's set to 130%, would that be 92% of 390W or did you limit it with a voltage curve?

I'm surprised you bought one of these. I always thought you were titan specific because it was the purest core with no hindrance. ;-)

Please post video/pics of the backplate effects! lol, ever since I had heard them describe it in interviews I've been intrigued ;D

Increasing the power target to anything over 100% just means you're allowing the GPU to use more power if it's needed.  The hope is to run max clocks without ever reaching the max power target...

I don't know if that panned out like they wanted.. I haven't seen a since person show any backplate effects, so I would be interested if that whole idea was cut due to time constraints.

No water cooling. I'm just using a open test bench. It's only using 92% as the card is really efficient at using power. Yes, I believe it would be 92% of the allowed 390w.

Not working at the moment. Maybe evga will get it working in the future. Only things that light up on the back of the card is the kinping logo and vbios indicator light.

Are there even traces for lights, or is it solid aluminum?

https://benchmark.unigine.com/results/rid_0d5b8332cae9491b974af839ea546aa5 Best score to date with my 1080 ti kingpin. Look at that solid 2025 mhz clock at 54c.

Best total score I could get with my titan x was 5113.

Just took another look at the back of the card... Looks like there aren't any led's on the back except for the vbios indicator light & kingpin logo.

Not really impossible, when I benchmarked my 1080Ti FTW3 for a review my ambient temperature was about 26°C, the fans were at 100% and 117% power limit was set.
It really had trouble to reach 61°C on the GPU core, and the rest of the sensors reported temperatures between 50-61°C.
And my maximum default clock speed is also 1987MHz by GPU boost 3.0, but I think it goes back to 1949Mhz from 1961Mhz when you cross the 60°C mark.

It are just really well built cards with great cooling capacity for such a beast of a chip in a 2-slot design.

Anyway great card Sajin and hope you'll enjoy it!

I'm curious about the actual power usage? If it is around 110% usage like in Mass Effect Andromeda or Doom  in 4K. The temp is gonna be above 65C for me even at 100% fan speed.
And...Is it loud at 100% fan speed? Mine is loud and I have to wear headphone to play Siege.

    CPU - Intel 8700K - 5.1GHz core, 5.0GHz cache, 1.37v
    GPU - EVGA FTW3 1080Ti SLI - 2.0GHz core, 12GHz memory
Motherboard - Asus Maximus X Hero
    Memory - Corsair Dominator 4x16GB - 3000MHz default XMP 15-17-17-35
    PSU - EVGA 1600T2

To me the FTW3 gets somewhat 'loud' beyond the 70% fan speed mark on all fans combined, but it's not something I'm bothered with as the CPU fans are a tenfold louder, everyone has their own tolerance levels.
I'm more concerned about durability of the fans than silent fans that break quickly and become noisier, requiring RMA and then getting a potentionally worse performing refurbished card.
Power usage did very often go above 110% and hit 117% in history (sometimes I even hit 120%)

https://i.imgur.com/GKu4tJn.png (resized screenshot was required for review site, thus not sharp, May 2017)

The temperatures for the GPU under full load with the higher power target & draw in typical gaming loads can be anywhere between 63 to 68°C for me with fan speeds maybe hovering around 60-70%~, usually power fan is a bit higher than the rest as it has the hottest sensor which sometimes can hit 71°C, ambient temps of let's say 24-26°C.
This is mostly from playing GTA V as I play that the most, but the card during daytime is pretty much using all it's potentional at 80-100+ fps. (1440p, 1,5x scaling)
Case is well ventilated and one of the four 200mm fans is used as intake from the sidepanel directly on the GPU/mobo etc.
