Got my notification for a 3060 (3657). My timestamp was 3/1/2021 at 6:56:09am.
It's not the card I wanted, but it's something I sorely need. My 980Ti is still working good, no performance issues with it, but physically the fans on the card ramp up full speed (or faster) randomly as the card is in use; they spin up really fast for 3 or 4 seconds. The fans can spin up a handful of times a day and sometimes they don't do it for a few days....eventually something is going to fail on her and then I'll be sitting there without a way to play. I've pulled the card apart, repasted, replaced thermal pads and completely cleaned it out (looked brand new), but it didn't help with the random fan spin ups.
I'm still on a few notifications for a 3070 and 3080, but I'm guessing I'll never see those cards since I've still got about 2 months time to go from the current timestamps on them.
Thankfully I also don't have to pay high retail prices either - I'm seeing similar RTX 3060 cards going for $500. I'm content now, still wishing I could have found a 3070 or 6800 at original MSRP. Oh well, I'll make good use out of this card.

Thanks everybody for all the answers.
I never mess with the BIOS or run above 100% power and leave at least a 3 slot space between cards on the MB so the difference is probably meaningless to me. Also turn off all RGB.
My hope is to get one of each hybrid 3090 and NVlink them for some AI stuff.

So I just won the Newegg shuffle for a Zotac 3080 Ti. Normally, I’d buy it ASAP despite the steep price (given how hard it is to even get a GPU right now, let alone at MSRP), but my spot in the 3967 queue is so close that I’m honestly on the fence about it. My spot is at 7:45:25, so I have 1 minute and 21 seconds worth of notifies that need to be sent out before mine is, going by the element35 tracker. The ETA says I should get an email on July 2 or 3, which seems like a reasonable estimate if 3967 drops continue like they did this week.
I have until 5PM EST to decide, but again, I’m pretty torn as to what I’ll do.

Stick it in an extra slot on your computer and mine Raven, Firo, Flux, or Octopus until it pays for itself then sell it on EBay at a 200% markup.

Most people didn't care about the differences, but in the end, at least up until now, FTW3s were the only cards shipping out and XC3s were practically nonexistent. It's gotten a little better, but you would have to be right up at the beginning of the queue still.

Congrats for the newegg shuffle. I think most of them are a joke - most tend to be paired up with junk you don't need (at least that I don't need) and you're forced to spend more. Then again, some of the prices on just a GPU are also high - such as the price on the Zotac 3080Ti.....that's way above my price range. Odd thing with waiting on the drops from EVGA is you could be waiting for weeks or months with only a few minutes to go and other times you see some of the cards get massive drops rapidly. Weigh out the pros and cons. Cons on getting the Zotac card would be the higher price point. Cons on waiting is, well, the wait. It could be days or weeks out still...maybe even longer. Pros on the Zotac card. You know you have a card coming your way very soon - depending on your choice of shipping options. Pros on waiting, lower price point. If money is of no object, then you might as well make a move for the Zotac. At least that's how I'd look at it. There may be other factors in place for you, but seems you're kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place right now.

So, are the RTX 3080 HYBRID's done? I just noticed that 3888 and 3898 are not on the list any more.
And, I'm less than a half hour away on the 3979! Maybe in July!

The hits just keep on coming. My 3897 was supposed to be delivered today, but now UPS shows a delivery exception (delay) for emergency/hazardous conditions.
Whatever the emergency is, I hope everyone is OK, but UGH! I feel like I'm never going to get this GPU.

I am currently using a 980, which has been just fine, but this will be a good holdover until I can get something better! The issue is though my rig is a custom loop...and there aren't any blocks for the 3060. :( But hey, better than nothing!

I don’t think the ~$500 extra I would have spent on the card over the FTW3 (after applying the wheel + associate’s codes) would have justified getting it early. Still, if the 3967 continues to get a decent amount of drops (relatively speaking) each week, I imagine I’ll be able to get one sooner than later.

Good choice in my opinion. Zotac thinks theyre Asus White Strixes now with what theyre charging.

I received my FTW3 3070ti through the step up program. I traded in the RTX 3060 that i bought about a month ago. Entered the step up on 6/10 at 10am, so I'm really happy of the quick turnaround.
If you are passing on 3060 and waiting for a 3070 or 3080 (ti or not), you might want to consider the step up program. Granted, with the fact that you end up paying taxes twice and have to cover shipping costs, you end up paying a $100 plus premium, but it was worth for me. I was without a card for only 5 days!

Yeah, I'd have enough of a problem paying $1,700 for a top end Asus or MSi 3080 Ti... let alone a Zotac or a Gigabyte. FTW3 for $1,400 or a Zotac for $1,700. It's not even a consideration to me.

Gigabyte cards have traditionally been pretty good although I’ve seen reports they are using less … desirable … parts on some of their 30xx cards.
Zotac makes video cards. And that’s all I have to say about that.
