Hi, guys, my RTX 2070 XC runs on 100% fan speed at about 73° Celsius I installed MSI Afterburner and X1 and tested different fan curves. I also increased the temp. limit to 88° Celsius -> all with the result that the fans jump up to 100% at 73° Celsius, run a few seconds and then go back to 70%. The fan curves work until the card reaches 73°.
I have already tested the following things: - Both fans separately in 10% steps to 100% fan speed -> works - Card removed and cables checked - MSI Afterburner and X1 bring the same result Do any of you have any idea what else I can test?I bought the card last year in May and have been satisfied with it ever since.
Thanks in advance!

You shouldn't have both X1 and AFB installed since they both can conflict with each other and possibly give you issues on the card. You should choose one or the other.

Welcome to the EVGA Forums Hysteresis - is set to 0 by default ... raising it to say 5 would help, as the fan would continue to run until temp drops 5C below your set point Also - look at your case fans ...you need to get the heat out of your case ... where the GPU dumps most of its heat Ultimate Self-Starter Thread For New Members

First of all, thanks for the quick responses. I had first installed AFB, uninstalled it and then installed X1. Sorry, I hadn't made it clear. Unfortunately the tip with the hypertesis didn't bring any change either. Additionally I installed GPU-Z to check if the display in X1 is correct at all. I noticed the following (see screenshot): Fan1 shows only 64% speed, but the RPM is 3765, compared to Fan2 which shows 2140RPM at the same speed. I think that the fan control has a damage. What do you think? Should I RMA it?

Quite possibly. I would get a hold of EVGA support and let them know everything you've stated here.

Sajin Normal...
That can´t be normal. Only Fan1 shows high RPM. Fan2 runs according to its fan curve
