I've been thinking of buying a 2080 super xc used sold by Amazon. Will I get the remaining warranty if I go this route? I'll be saving $58 by buying it used versus new.

I believe i would spend the extra money and get the new one if it was me, if its used you have no idea what the card has been thru as far as overclocking, or modded, maybe a water block installed and removed or anything. If you buy it used your warranty will be from the date the manufacturer shipped it out since you will not be the original owner. If you get it new and sealed you will be the original purchaser and the full warranty will go in affect from your purchase date.

I've received a email from CJohnson and he stated this, I saw your forum post and wanted to reach out directly to you. When a card is sold as used or open box from the original retailer (Amazon, Bestbuy, Microcenter, etc.) we will still treat it as a new purchase with a full warranty from the date on your receipt. You would still qualify for the optional programs like Step-Up and the Extended warranty. If you do purchase the card, once you receive it, you can email me the serial number and I can confirm the warranty information for you. Now I'm hoping it's legit because I could not believe what I saw on amazon after searching for a few days. I found this bad boy for $1194 before taxes and couldn't resist. While he went with the Amazon card it's worth pointing out that they now allow the associate codes to be used on B-Stock products for additional savings. I noticed that change posted on the EVGA facebook page. It's a nice change to the program.

Heed what CJohnson stated, “from Amazon”. Not from a third party selling through amazon, but “from amazon”. Make sure it is sold and shipped from amazon only, and not an unauthorized store.

I just received the 2080ti FTW. I was able to register it and bought the 5 year extended warranty along with the advance EAR. I am just awaiting evga on the 2 free games.

Did I miss something? How would you qualify for the games on a 'used' product registration.?
