Just recently built a machine with the EVGA 1080 FTW2 and the OSD feature is not working on any games in Steam. As of now usually only play Realm Royale or Black Squad. Also tried Final Fantasy XV.
Machine has a Gigabyte Designare EX x299 MB and running Win 10 Pro ver. 1709
Any ideas?

Did you install the standalone or Steam version ?

Did you install the standalone or Steam version ?
I installed the standalone ver direct from evga website.

What software is running in back ground ?
LED control or AIO cooler software ?
Does OSD work when you play on your PC ?

Corsair icue for my cooler. I was able to run Heaven benchmark and get it to work. But nothing on Steam.

It appears it doesnt work on any games in Steam. Trying to stick with one program. I noticed steam.exe is in the precision server cfg file. Could this be the cause?

Setting the DirectX Launch Option in your Steam game/s to another DirectX Mode might enable Precision OSD..Been known to work before..You can search how to do that.
Right-clicking the game Properties in Steam and unchecking "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game" in the game's General tab could be another thing to try..I would roll with this first.
I know Precision OSD has been incompatible with some Steam (and other) games.
If all else fails, you can probably run Afterburner and Precision at the same time without issues, using Afterburner w/RivaTuner Statistics Server strictly for OSD (without touching any other settings) and use Precision to control your 1080 FTW2..Done that before, no problemo here.

I tried disabling the steam overlay and still no luck. .
Still willing to try and resolve this though as it appears this is strictly with any games in steam.

Disabling Nvidia OSD feature in Geforce Experience worked for me and OSD is now shown in games again.
