Ram not supported, and crashing

How come the Z390 is not supporting ram that has RGB? I'm looking at the support page for motherboard, none of the ram is rgb there.

I also realize that the corsairs icue is causing some of the crash for the mobo which is weird.

    Just because the ram isn't listed doesn't mean it won't work. Are you sure the ram is causing the crashing?

    I'm running 4 sticks of Corsair Vengeance RGB. No issues here and I can control the LEDs via iCue. I think your stability issues like elsewhere.

    What CPU are you running and what BIOS are you on?

    It is weird because something like the Corsair/Samsung is probably what was widely tested with everything for some time now. It's like on every QVL. This Hynix kit isn't but it's fine, just a few boards didn't like it much.

    Remember to also check with the RAM Mfg of your choice for compatibility of their product with your MB
