Having trouble keeping up with you guys now!
Thanks for the quick updates on the software.

Whoo looks like the fan speed sliders on right hand side may be reporting correctly now for me, for the first time.
Nope scratch that - they do on initial loading of the profile, but if you scroll through the GUI screens upon returning to the main screen those sliders show 0 again, whilst the fan rpm's on the left are still reporting correctly.

Profile saving and loading still working good for me so far, they did in 0.3.6 for me also.

    Good:
Application icon load is much faster (~1 sec instead of ~15 seconds to open).
Setup settings appear to remain saved after restart.

    Bad:
GUI still shows two fans instead of three.
LED does not illuminate after "apply," "save," or whatnot.
I have "start minimized" checked, but I hope to have that mean, "Start minimized on startup," and not start minimized every time I open the application.
VF Curve Tuner does not easily identify that it is actually working and doing something. Poor GUI.

     Indeed EVGA is.
After Installing Version 0.3.6 BETA my EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti XC ULTRA Name changed to EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti XC.
This may be due to installing the HC Water Block as well.

Have you tried doing a power flush to see if that will get your three fans back?
Happened once to me a few versions ago, did that and have had all three since.

Power down PC, unplug power supply and hold power button in for 30 seconds, plug back in and boot back up.

Nope. Power flush didn't help. Thanks for the suggestion though.

That said, on the last iteration, some startups would show three fans, but most showed only two fans. It's too early to tell on this iteration.

So on Start with OS the LED Color Box is missing and my card names are incorrect.
But if I exit and the start PX1 all is fine. Now to test this on this Beta Version.

0.3.7.0 now saves fan curves, memory clock, and led colors, but does not save the target power and gpu temp values properly.

I break the link and leave power at 100% but limit GPU temp to 75. When I restart my computer (fast start disabled), it remembers the GPU temp of 75 but does not remember they are unlinked and then caps power to 68%. It needs to remember the unlink and the power setting.

0.3.7.0 VF Curve Tuner won’t run without restarting the software. It still locks up my system and cannot complete a scan. It used to work properly.

I stopped loading PX1 with OS as it shows all features if I start PX1 after the OS us booted up.

I had VF Curve Tuner lock on me also. Similar, restarting the software allowed me to use it.

It would be nice to know if it was running and how much it has completed at a glance...

Just to let you guys know that’s I’ve had major issues with the last two updates. Finally the fan curves save, but at the expense of a weird bug whereby the performance of my card will decrease massively with every subsequent game or bench I run.

With the 1st bench I get the correct result and then the next bench decreases by 1500 points on timespy! The next by 100 and so on...

I had to delete X1 and install Afterburner. Now everything is fine and as it should be. In fact I don’t have to put as much OC into my memory or GPU to get the same result.

Just to mention this again as it still exists in 0.3.7.
VR - with my Oculus Rift, upon putting on the headset and the Oculus Home software launching, Precision X1 closes.
Bad time for that to happen, if VR user does not remove or lift headset again before launching a game, they will not know this has happened.

Normally putting the headset on is the last thing a VR user does prior to launching the game.

So, I upgraded to an EVGA RTX 2080 Ti XC Ultra from my trusty old Asus ROG STRiX 1080 a couple weeks ago and I'm used to using MSI Afterburner to OC my GPUs, but since I heard Precision X1 was re-made from the ground up with new code I thought I'd give it a try. I understand how everything in PX1 works so far, except how saving and loading profiles works. I don't understand why sometimes you click on one of the profile numbers in the right-side menu bar (1-9) and the whole box turns purple, and sometimes you click the profile box and only the number turns purple, then there's this business with the double-clicking the number boxes and right-clicking the number boxes, I have no clue what any of that does. Can anyone help me understand how to simply assign my profile values to Profile 0, save Profile 0, and then Load Profile 0 after closing the app or restarting my PC? Because right now it appears that I can only save one profile settings/set of values for all of the Profiles 0-9, they are always the same values/settings as Profile 0. I tried making Profile 0 my basic/least powerful OC settings, with Profile 1 being slightly more OC, 2 even higher OC, etc... But this is so confusing as to how to properly save each profile, load it later, and apply it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Btw, I'm posting this here because I'm running this version of PX1 (0.3.7 BETA). Thanks!

I will tell you how I save a profile that works for me.
In PX1, I make my adjustments. Which in my case is Power and Temp target sliders on full. Manual fan curve activated (check box selected) and then a custom fan curve created. I like a little more aggressive fan curve for all three of my fans than the default.

Once I have the above, I left click on a profile number (which turns the box purple), and then I click the Save button.
Once saved, if I select another box, the profile number will be a purple reflecting there is a profile saved there.
After that, whenever I want to load up my profile like after closing PX1 for a time being, or restarting the PC - I left click the profile number to select it, and then clock on the Load button. No need to click on either apply or save after loading the profile, only need to click the Load button.

    Hope this helps,

    Don

Well i just installed the new version and the px1 won't even start. Uninstalled it deleted all the evga folders and did a disk cleanup, then rebooted the computer reinstalled the newest version and nothing. I looked in my installed programs and led sync and px1 are both installed but program wont start even as an administrator. I have 2x 2080ti ftw3 cards.

    Users/appdata/local/CrashDumps
You may have to enable "show hidden files and folders".

OK, did it, found it, reinstalled and still same problem. It installs with no errors but won't open.

Depends on the silicon. Can certainly vary card to card.
