My cable modem is a Arris CM8200.
 
I tried with the router and without a router.
 
I use address 192.168.100.1
 
The page just continually loads :(

    What is your OS ?
     
    What Security & Firewall software is running ?

    What web browser ? ( check those settings also)
     
    Type the default LAN IP address, 192.168.100.1, in the Address bar and then press Enter --> if this is not working, may be time to use the Reset Button

    If you can't access the page it's time to reset the router.

    Try a different browser too.. some Java and ActiveX functions have issues in Firefox due to FF blocking them for security reasons, whereas IE/Edge works (the only reason I keep IE/Edge installed).

    Reset the router. 
     
    Also check the network settings by right clicking and selecting properties on the network. Maybe its using a different IP Address.

    Any anti virus software or pop up blocker software you are using? I had a pop up blocker stop the pop up of the login screen on my router.
