We need a Linux version of Precision Xoc or at least a quick and dirty script

SteamVR is available for Linux. Cryptocurrency miners are available for Linux. Why isn't Precision Xoc available for Linux?

I was investigating Linux as a mining platform today. It's capable of setting my power limit (underclocking) and setting my GPU fan speed. Unfortunately the nvidia-settings tool in linux does not support more than one fan per card. This means I can only control the GPU fan, not the power fan on my 1080 ti hybrids. This is probably fine for gaming, but for a mining rig it is unacceptable as the cards will run hot. I prefer to keep my cards at 40C. That's why I buy hybrids in the first place. EVGA has to be selling a lot of cards to miners right now. I expect that trend will continue in the future. Surely it makes sense to support them with a bit of software. It doesn't have to be a full blown GUI. We just need a little script to monitor temps and set fan speeds. A full blown GUI would be nice, but many miners run headless setups anyway and something is better than nothing.

Thanks

    Welcome to the Forum createthis
See Threads > Precision x linux support?
EVGA Precision XOC 4 GPU Limit &  EVGA Precision 4 GPU limit & Precision XOC Should Support More than 4 GPUs
Also you can disconnect the Fans from the GPU and use the MB Fan Headers or a Fan Controller.
And with Hybrids Cards you can turn on the GPU Blower Fan in Linux you only need to connect the Fan(s) on the Radiator(s) as stated above.
    Best of luck.

    Thanks for the reply.

A separate hardware fan controller isn't a terrible workaround, but software is expected and a value add for mining customers. I think EVGA should seriously consider devoting some man hours to this in the future.

Sorry but I See No Real Value for Mining Customers as this is not a Mining Company like https://www.bitmain.com/ and the like.
This New Gold Rush Era of Mining is tearing down the Gaming and Computer World like in the Frist Gold Rush did of Brother Killing Brother for Gold now called Coin.
I am not saying that EVGA would not take your Idea to Heart.
