Yeah getting a little tired myself of updating drivers so often, think I will stick with 378.78 for a while longer.

Hoping this will fix the inconsistent clocking in ME:Andromeda. My 1080 typically drops down from 2025mhz to 1867mhz sometimes. The core clock is all over the place resulting in an inconsistent framerate. Gsync keeps me from noticing the FPS drop though. I only notice when looking at AB's OSD lol
 
Overall performance is fine at 1440p maxed out. This should make it even smoother.

The most important part of this driver is the Mass Effect Andromeda SLI profile, at least in my opinion since I just bought the game.  I hope it will run well with SLI, I am a bit optimistic seeing how well Dragon Age Inquistion ran.  Based on the reviews for the game, a 1080 is just barely enough to run the game at Ultra at 1440p at 60 to 70 fps, would be nice if SLI could get it into triple digits without stutter.

During the 10 hour trial I was getting average of 70ish. I had previously mentioned it was 60 but went back and looked at the fraps data and it was closer to 70fps average. Dips down to 45ish and highs up in the 140ish range. And that is with a 1080 FTW acx. I'll have to see how it is with SLI once I get my ICX card in. Curious to see if this will make a difference with just a single card as well.

seems fine for my 1080ti anyway. i do run afterburner tho as it seems it generally boost higher over ocx for now and more consistent too. aslong as temp are low enough its prety 99% constant. i got enough fps so not using the g-sync cause i play bf1 too and it gives a tiny amount of input lag + servers are at 60hz. still think its an advantage to have it up in the 100's as it generally makes it much more fluid for me anyway. g-sync mostly overrated higher fps is way superior to it cause it seems to tear way less.

I didn't notice that when installing driver 378.78. I didn't install geforce experience when I installed 378.78.

Several on the Nvidia Forums were reporting problems on this release of Geforce Experience. (GFE)
I only installed the Driver  to play Mass Effect on the GTX 1080 FTW2 as I already had 378.78 -
OK so far but just got to the EOS zone. Have not done any Folding yet with this new driver.

That would be a good question for NVIDIA, So Glad I do not install or use it.
Well other then getting free games and then removing afterwards.

im getting decent scaling on ME:A under SLI with these drivers but...
 
hair on characters blur, get hitching/stutters in cut scenes as others have mentioned, and my gpu clock speeds are all over the place which is probably causing the random fps fluctuations...seeing it go from 30~ to 200+ during cutscenes when nothing much on screen has changed
 
dont see any of these issues when SLI is disabled and keeps a pretty steady frame rate...however at 2560x1440 @ 165hz 50-60fps off of a GTX 1080 is a bit disappointing to say the least
 
pretty glad they got all those media outlets to boast to everyone about the great SLI support it was getting day 1 haha
 
pretty bad when im forced to just run off my TV w/vsync and a controller for a smoother gaming experience

SLI on my end is working as intended with my 2 1070's... no idea.
