Am using the OC with 450w.. Just flashed to old 450 watt bios and let X-1 perform it's update. No change... And the forum is being stupid.. can't quote and can't insert  image.

Looking into, also can you try the normal BIOS with 450W update, the OC BIOS has a more aggressive fan curve without 0DB fan mode.

Same exact problem both Nvidia and Gpu-z say it's working and X-1 says MB and not enabled..

New release is up with several fixes. www.evga.com/precision

Installed and it 'flashed' my card with something on boot up of this new version.  However my fan still wont go below 33% in the sliders.  (EVGA 3080 FTW3 w/ OC - XOC Rebar 450W Bios)

Rebar looks fine though, just fan issue still on mine.

It not only not fixes the fans but it also broke a working re-bar.. X-1 says disabled and NVCP and GPU-Z both say it's on.

My Rebar shows working in X-1.  Probably a cosmetic bug.  All that matters is the Nvidia CP and GPU-Z showing Enabled

Could you please provide me a link to the latest (with the resizable bar support) Bios for the 3070 FTW3 Ultra?

Dear Jacob, not only is the card 3090 ftw3 ultra a dud, but this rebar issue as well:

Before updating to precision 1.1.9 everything was great. GPU-Z still reports rebar as enabled. The motherboard bios specifically mentions 3090 as supported with rebar, and I boot in uefi. Both NVCPL and gpu-z report rebar as enabled, but evga precision says disabled. Please help. Precision keeps updating bios out of the blue as well quite frequently.

Both above 4g decoding and rebar resize are enabled in the bios. Everything was working on the previous precision build.

I would appreciate if you reached out in terms of OC as well, card crashes in games without any OC and sucks over 85 watts over pci-e. Please help.

Do you need the latest drivers also to make this work , or just the Bios from PX1

Everything seemed fine to me until I updated to X1 1.1.9.
Now, it has an exclamation point next to my motherboard and Re-Bar Disabled, plus I get an error when I launch it (unable to load DLL 'nvml.dll': The specified module could not be found.).

Tried a fresh install, and the same.

I uninstalled, and went back to 1.1.18 and everything seems fine again.

It is also telling me my MB is the problem.  I verified in NVCP that rebar is enabled and I also checked in device manager.  It was fine before then Precision update.

Jacob I know you're being hammered with questions here but if you can answer, for me its showing mobo warning like rest of the people here but its off in nvcp as well even though its on in bios and everything else (csm/vbios/board bios) is good, its a b450 tomahawk max 3070 xc3 ultra.
Tried new 1.1.19 PX1 no luck still, saw mention of xc3 ult 3070 on new px1 notes but had no new vbios today, is there something else i can look into trying?
Edit: tried a newer bios, even though had bar the newer one actually turned it on from 2/30 - if anyone else on b450 toma max has issues

I'm having an issue with mine as well, although I know that it should be working. I had a XC3 3080 on this machine, Resizable Bar was working just fine. I swapped it out last night for a XC3 3090 Hybrid and put the 3080 in my wife's machine. However, the 3090 isn't working. I know the setting is on through my motherboard. I disabled, restarted, and reenabled it as well. Precision X1 has checks everywhere except for the MB. When I put it in, it immediately updated the BIOS on the GPU. The NVIDIA control panel is also showing that it is not enabled.

Thank you!

I'm also still having this issue with a 3090 XC3 Ultra Hybrid, vbios 94.02.42.80.C2 as I posted a few pages back. I've had no success on an MSI z490 unify. Updated bios (tried beta and latest stable), CSM disabled, Rebar/4G enabled, and power cycled the computer a few times. Not sure what else to try other than waiting for a new vbios and motherboard bios.

I fixed it reporting my Resizable BAR : Disabled issue with copying the Missing dll from C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\NVSMI and putting it into the System32 folder where a lot of programs actually look for it. I hope this helps narrow down the problem people are having.

I copied the filed you mentioned, and updated to 1.1.9 again, and now everything seems to be back to 'normal'.

Hopefully this will help anyone having the same problem I had, and for EVGA to patch it [again].

Update X1 precision to 1.1.9, its got the fixed bios for the 3070 that supports re-bar. Go to the Re-bar button in the tool and hit the update button next to your Graphics VBIOS.

I updated X1 to 1.1.9 today and it said it'd update the bios (again). I can't see a newer version now though, which version am I supposed to be running on a 3080 FTW3?
Fans work below 33% (at least 1&2), now I'll just need a game that makes use of it :)

Yeah, I've done everything short of reformatting at this point, and it isn't worth it. I'll wait for a hopeful fix. Sucks because it enabled flawlessly on my 3080.

I was having the same issue after the 1.1.9 update, but after doing the above Re-BAR now reports as enabled. I've got an MSI MPG Z490, and a 3090 FTW3 with VBios 94.02.42.80.27

Jacob, the new updated X1 V1.9 did a firmware update to the 3080 FTW3 Ultra. But it does not fix the fan issues. Can we get an update on when this will be addressed? As a matter of fact it has now disabled the Re-bar that does work on V1.8. Nvidia CP says re-bar enabled and GPU-Z also says re-bar is enabled. X-1 now says not supported by MB and Re-bar disabled. Your update has made things worse for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra.

Normal or OC BIOS? Also can you take a screenshot of your info (i) button in Precision X1?

OC bios, fans are still same bugged on 3080 FTW3 Ultra, 3rd fan is going down to 0% while others are at 33%, also the slider is showing the discrepancy as before. Here's the info tab:

Copying dlls all over will temporarily fix issues, but I would not get in the habit of doing it. What happens the next time it is updated at the source? Do you remember to update the place you copied it to? Do other programs now read the old one from System32 instead of the new one where it is supposed to be found? Not saying there is technically anything wrong with what you did, but root cause is important.

Looks like EVGA screwed something up here, pending a fix, having the dll there is probably not awful, but even in a place where only PX1 would look like "C:\Program Files\EVGA\Precision X1" would be better. However, it could cause a head-scratcher down the road. Just my own unsolicited 2 cents. I will take my beating now LOL.

Agreed, which is why i made a symlink of that .dll in system32 instead of copying it. Still a half ass measure, but at least the .dll being referenced will always be the latest one.

With a Kingpin card, is Precision going to pick the right BIOS to update to based on my switch position?  Or where are the individual BIOS downloads?

I remember Jacob saying it will pick the right one based on where the switch is set.  I had a similar question and it seemed to work fine.
