Thanks. I’d hate to delay people by a day with a spot in the queue I’m not going to use. Just getting an order for one of these cards feels surreal after so much frustration. Having one in my PC has me grinning from ear to ear. Now to play some minesweeper to see what this thing can do.

I am getting tired of the cut and paste summaries...the queues haven't moved this week. 
 
Hopefully EVGA fixed the backend of their online store checkout process (necessary for the price grandfathering for the queue) and that the complete lack of movement of the North American queues is behind us.  We need some drops in a big, big way today!

Well at least something went right in terms of my luck today.
 
Happened to refresh Amazon & the Samsung G9 was in stock for a regular price, direct from Amazon, shipping immediately.  Should be here between the 15th & 19th.
 
I probably shoulda waited to order it, but I'm continuing with my YOLO approach to this year. lol


I hope that the monitor you receive works well.  I read a lot of bad reviews on the Samsung G9.

i don't see them selling the 4k series next year if people cant even get there hands on the 3k series, they'll milk the 3k series for probably 2 years. You'll probably see 3080 , 3070 ti/super.

I am embarrassed to say this would dramatically improve my overall mood if we saw some big movement today, even if I don't get my card.

I'm in agreement with you, retep88. I'm so far down the pipeline I have no expectations of receiving a card before the April price deadline, but I'd love to see movement so I know other people are getting their intent to purchase fulfilled. I'm still using an ASUS Strix 1080, so I by no means need a new card. With that said, running a 1440p, 144hz monitor, I would like to take advantage of the refresh rate. Plus, I've been wanting an EVGA card for quite some time. Best of luck to everyone today, provided checkout has been updated and is working.

I was fortunate to get a 3090 XC Ultra from the que.  My buddy has somehow found a way to cut through Best Buy's new ordering process and has picked up six (!) 3000 series cards.  Two founder's 3090, two founder's 3080 and two MSI 3080.  I picked a 3080 up from him for my kid.  Now just waiting for one more card for my other son and I'm done.

Nah, this guy would have no idea how to use a bot.  He said that he would click to purchase, and then get the next screen that grays out the bar and tells you to 'wait until it turns yellow again'.  He would then click 'live chat' and for some reason his purchase button would light up almost every time.  I tried it, but it didn't work for me.  He was using his work computer at a body shop, so no special programs.

They stalling for you can pay the new prices in a few months.

I don't mind paying the higher price.  From an economic standpoint and the supply and demand curve they are not charging enough for the cards.  They should have started with a much higher price from day one and allowed the market to stabilized then start lowering prices so that demand and supply always meet.  The only reason scalpers can sell at much higher prices is because the current Market allows it and they are selling them.  I think it is nice they are holding off prices for those of us in que but it would not have made me mad if they had raised the prices.  I am a true capitalist in that regard.

I was fortunate to get a 3090 XC Ultra from the que.  My buddy has somehow found a way to cut through Best Buy's new ordering process and has picked up six (!) 3000 series cards.  Two founder's 3090, two founder's 3080 and two MSI 3080.  I picked a 3080 up from him for my kid.  Now just waiting for one more card for my other son and I'm done.

I think Nvidia was looking over their shoulder at AMD's big Navi and wanted to make the most compelling offer they could.

The economic effects of Covid were probably miscalculated.

The "rationing effect" of supply and demand are unfortunately on full display now. If all cards on amazon and ebay were lowered to msrp right now, they would all be gone tomorrow and the vast majority of consumers would not only still be without a new card, they would have no access to any of the cards...at any price.

If the goal was to have you paying new pricing, they'd just price them new now.  "Sorry, guys, these cards are costing us more.  Buy it or pass on it...".  Not as though the cards won't sell in a day.
 
There's no reason in that scenario for them to delay getting the extra money until April.
