Oh sorry, i mean limited to e.g. „1.000 KPEs“ (i hope more)

And i think, im a Elite-Member...
I bought and register my 3090 FTW3 ;-)

It will be limited run, they did not specify how many units they're making though.  I would assume it will only be a 2-3 thousand at most.  Keeping in mind LN2 peeps will be eating a lot of them, that won't leave much for the rest of everyone.

I know its a long shot sending a message here in hopes someone from EVGA can help me out. But I work late and when I got home I had around 50 minutes to checkout a 3070. I tried 4 different credit cards and they all gave me the same red error at the place my order screen. I even got text confirmations from my bank in order to authorize the transaction and I did authorize all of them and it still didn't go through. All my credit cards are functional and I ran out of time when trying my last card. Is there anything I can do or is it basically over until I get a notify email from other cards that I signed up for. I would really appreciate any response.

I'm sure someone already said it, but reply to the email you got the link in letting them know you want to purchase the card & had those issues, they will be willing to work with you & get you your card!  I emailed them about not having the money available yet to purchase mine & they were willing to hold my place in line while I got it together, so they should definitely be happy to help you out with getting your payment issue sorted & sending your card to you!

I originally was planning on a 3080, but wasn't happy with the low vram. The 3080ti seems exactly what I'm looking for, but now I'm just leaning more towards a 3090 instead.
I think it'll come down to whichever one of these comes up first

3973 12/2/2020 2:50:50 PM PT

I think I'd prefer the non-hybrid 3978 to the hybrid 3973, but it doesn't look like the queue is moving for the 3973

If/when it exists, the 3080 Ti would be in a sweet spot I think.

Get that thicc grill 3090, you will not regret it... and if you do you can always resell it & get a 3080 Ti whenever it comes out, as I'm sure scalping will be rampant on those too.

Think about it. You can get a $700 3080 card and then buy a $1100 3080ti when it comes out and it will cost about the same as a single 3090 FTW.........

So this Kingpin queue - if you get in early is there hope of getting one this year? and by hope I mean likelihood. I have been lurking for a while, actually thought I queued up for a 3080 back in October, but guess I didn't enter the correct email account email.

I briefly considered this, then I thought of upgrading my power supply, and spending $1500 on a card, vs. $750 on a card now, and $750 on a card 2yr from now.  This 8nm samsung desperation play did not work out.  And I expect Nvidia isn't going to try to bully TSMC again anytime soon.  Once they finish crawling back to TSMC and get to sit back at the big kids table, they'll pump out a refresh on this generation pretty quickly.  I can't imagine the egos here allowing for the near parity of AMD for any longer than is required to get the next generation of cards designed and built.

I've even started tinkering with the notion of sticking around on my 1070 for 1 more generation.  Or I could get a 3060ti and double my 1070 perf.

I think (upon reflection) I was really just buying into this generation to get all the rays on my cyberpunk.  But now that cyberpunk is turning out to be cyberbug, and I've gotta wait for the PC release to patch out the bug that has my game stuck, I'm not feeling the upgrade pressure so much.

You're assuming.  I can guarantee you that queue was GIGANTIC based on the fact that it crashed the site for over 8 minutes for the majority of people.  7 seconds of movement could literally be hundreds of GPUs for a launch of something that is that well priced, high end, and well cooled.

If you get in as early as possible you might get a card in the next week or so - I believe the reason they are re-opening that queue is because more units are going to be available sometime this week for shipment - meaning those that get in queue "early" on the re-launch should get a card before Christmas, assuming the shipping doesn't ruin it.

So looking at the chart from enewt, if I am reading that correctly, the biggest movement was for about 2 hours worth of a line since yesterday. So that is 1/12 of a line per day in a best case scenario. So I will be waiting 2 years in line by that standard if I signed up on december 2nd??

Stock will slowly increase in size.
Demand will slowly dwindle.
Scalpers already have more stock on hand than any store receives, so they will likely move on (unless they intend to keep buying all cards forever, to artificially maintain high demand, but at a certain point they go broke)

So I would say, this is like leaving a sports stadium.  Unless you are able to get out in front, you might as well find a nearby pub and chill.  Because if you leave towards the end of the pack and spend 40 minutes in gridlock, you get home at about the same time you would as if you spent 40 minutes in a coffee shop, and then headed home.

Translation:  Around ~Feb/Mar I think most anyone who wants a card will find them relatively easy to get (maybe still a bit tedious, but relatively easy compared to now)

Someone had the audacity to say your summary looked "unprofessional"! WOW! your format is easy to understand, straight to the point and helps out thousands of people. Who cares if its not in a fancy looking spreadsheet. Sounds like someone is hating on you enewt. You've been doing amazing work here for months and helping out so many people. Their will always be "haters" keep doing what you do best! :) And also like badger said you are not getting paid for this. yes you are getting 5% from who uses your code but you deserve every single evgabuck you make from it. And I hope you build the best all evga build with it!

Kind of late following this topic but glad I found it. Looks like I have a long wait ahead. Think my best chance to score a card is with the Hybrid but it still looks like it’s going to be awhile. Wish I knew it was going be available to notify earlier in the day.

According to the forum I'm 16 min away for the 3060 ti XC3. I also have the same sign up time for the FTW3 Ultra. Anyone have an idea when I'll be able to order these I'm buying which ever one I get an email for first.

3080 ftw3 ultra received and installed! Black lips confirmed.

Does this means you can kiss your card without feeling funny now? ;)

Welcome the forum - unfortunately you're about 5hrs41mins away in queue on the 3090 FTW3 Hybrid, and waaaaaaay waaaaaaaaaaaaay waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay far away on the 3090 FTW3 Ultra, 3090 FTW3 non-Ultra, 3080 FTW3 Ultra.

5 hours may sound like a lot when you consider some queues are moving in minutes or seconds on some days, but the 3090 FTW3 Hybrid has moved 20 minutes from when the "2nd" batch started on the auto-notify's relaunch day (Thursday of last week) in just 2 days of actual drops (Friday was stragglers I think, as was Tuesday's drops, I think, maybe not though.)  I'd say your best odds are at that one.

If you're signed up for both, I would definitely wait for the FTW3 Ultra, you're only 20mins away on it, and the last time it moved - but it also hasn't moved in the last week and a half as far as I can tell - but maybe that's a good thing, mayhaps they will drop this week!

Good luck, and remember everyone:

DO NOT FORGET to use an Associates Code (someone's, anyone's) during checkout on eVGA.com purchases, it can save you 5% on GPUs & more on other items, and all you have to do is put the code in the proper box during checkout!  It also gives the person who's code you use free eVGA Bucks, so think of it as spreading the love, you get a discount, they get some funds to spend on eVGA's website ^_^ Happy holidays guys, I'm gonna go shred some games.
