Thanks for getting back to me but I didn't hit the order screen yet. I clicked the link in the email and it takes me to an EVGA page with red text and a white background "The link is unavailable!".
Please try now.

I signed up for notification before I was registered, I just signed up and asked for the auto notification again. Is this for my original signup or my sign up registration. Anyway, thank you Jacob

Lazaredz I'm sure its been answered 10 times, but I am at work and can't sit down to read Twitter nor 21 pages of comments .... so please be kind and patient ... I signed up for notification for ALL the 3080 cards but I only really want the FTW. Do I get a choice when my name comes up? Do I have to decline the X3 and go to the back of the line? Or do I simply slide into my spot on the FTW line? Truly sorry for the probable repost but my patients can't wait and its a long 12 hour shift without information. Thx in advance.
Each card is treated individiually, so no you will not get a choice. When you get a notification for whichever card comes available, you will only be able to buy that one. So for instance, if the XC comes through for you, you would have to just let it expire and wait for the FTW to come through. All the lines are separate so you wont be getting put to the back of line for FTW if the XC comes through.
Thank you for the info. Quick follow up .... If I buy the X3 will I still be able to buy a FTW? I know the cards say 1 per household but is it for that card specifically or the whole line? (Got my rig and the wife's computer to try and upgrade). Thx again.

OR will those products release with the traditional elite membership process?

We have made some changes to the checkout process for EVGA.com 30 Series orders. Now we are using a queue based notification system. To sign up, use the notification button on the product you would like to be notified for. For everyone who already used the notify button previously, you are already entered. Once product is available (and it is your turn to purchase), you will receive a secure email that will allow you to purchase the product that you received a notification for. Please note that you have 5 hours to place your order, if your order is not complete within 5 hours, the product will be released back into queue system. Also note that your email address that was used for the notify system MUST MATCH an email that has a registered EVGA account, if an account is not available with that email, you will need to create one before you can purchase. Also note that this system will be available for US store first and evaluating for other regions. Thanks EVGA
Jacob, what if I accidentally re-applied for a notification? Does the one a few weeks ago get nulled?

Would it be possible to add a page to the current member profile that lists what cards/product IDs are currently set to notify and what date is associated with that notification? I'm not sure what I set to notify and when. Just a simple listing/readout. Might be a good place to put a brief FAQ as well. It would be great if you guys also were willing to include queue position. Doesn't need to "total" values, just queue position. Even relative "%" if you don't want the numbers to be public. That way it would preclude all the questions about availability, changes, what is less likely, etc. as those numbers change. Would also help the forums from filling up with people self-reporting on who got what when, when they set to notify, etc. Thanks for adding this feature. Just hoping a little more can be added so it isn't as much of a black box.

It would be even more fantastic if we could see our position in the queue and the queue could compute an average length of time for someone in that position to get an invite.

Cerulean_Shaman Well, some questions: I signed up on like, day one, but HOW DO I KNOW? I never once, ever, received an email for anything. Secondly, would reentering to check reset the queue? EDIT: Just so people are aware, a lot of questions were answered by Jacob on Twitter and in the thread:
- There's currently no way to know where you are in queue or whether you're even signed up, HOWEVER --
- -- EVGA/Jacob said that signing up again wouldn't reset your position and that the earliest time you signed up would be used. I personally wouldn't trust it if you're 100% sure you signed up, but there you go.
- Each card apparently has its own queue, just ignore the ones you don't want and wait for the one you do to pop up.
- Whitelist email is:
- Still 1 card per household so once you make a choice it seems the system boots you/prevents you from purchasing anything else. Choose carefully, especially if you get in on this early.
- 5 hours until you timeout, no word on time periods, likely day time U.S. since EVGA is a U.S. company.
- Other regional stores will get this system once it's tested on U.S. store, no word on when
- Jacob said drops soon (as of Oct 5th nothing yet) and throughout week.
- Still not sure if there will ALSO be elite drops
- If you purchased from another store (like Newegg), you're still good for this system, even if you registered the other card
Do remember because of the timeout system presumably automatically going to the next person, once this all starts there should be a constant outflow of emails as people pass on certain cards and buy others during varying moments in the timeout window, thus staggering the ques. Basically, it means that it will be really hard to guess the progress of queues; my guess is initial stock will evaporate, then there will be a trickle of emails as people buy late or pass on cards and their timer expires. But with a 5 hour window it'll take a whole day for 5 people to pass more or less, soooo yeaaaah, lol.
Thank you! Just signed up for the notifications myself and didn't take note that I had to register an account with the site first (makes sense), glad to know I don't need to re-submit a request or that if I choose to it won't reset my place in line.
