I am going to wait in the weeds while the problems remain, NVIDIA suggested it may not be till next year before stocks can catch up to demand

yeah that is smart if you have a reasonable GPU right now, those of us who are still on a 970 though gaming above 1080p60 is a stuggle

Yeah EVGA is top notch for sure. Big reason I have been with them for so many years, both on GPU's and Motherboards.
And more recently case and power supply.

Is there a way to get an idea of how far down the queue one is? This would be the best.

What if a train left Chicago at 08:42 heading east at 65mph and I clicked on all the 3080s 2 days after release and the Moon is in Gemini .....

Alright alright - take it easy on me. I suppose it would be nice to know if I really did sign up for that "Notify me" a few weeks ago. I just don't remember if I did or not.

Honestly I think we're all trying to go back and think "Did I REALLY click that auto notify button on those cards?" lol. My memory is truly awful. I know I was struggling with trying to remember what day I did it when I finally remembered I FOR SURE clicked it..just don't remember if it was the day of release or the day after. Fingers crossed it doesn't take too long and I go from staring at a $3000 paper weight to gaming on it within the next couple weeks...ahh I can't wait!

So now that it's looking increasingly likely that I'll end up with a FTW3 30 series variant, I'm feeling pretty silly having ordered and received that EVGA  12 pin cable for an FE at launch. Doh!

I know. I built this lovely PC, and I'm using the integrated GPU. It's just painful...

Yep.  I built mine like 4 months ago and bought a 2070 super as a placeholder for my 3080.  Once I have my 3080 its time to start saving up for a 4k widescreen with gsync...

I don't think I've signed up to the notification as I've been checking daily and have been f5ing.  I'm beyond livid as I've been trying to get one since the very beginning and now I'm having to wait until everyone else gets one.

I am on integrated graphics. I gave my daughter my PC when she went off to school and it had my 1070 in it. I gave it to her at the end of the summer when I decided to build a new gaming machine. Little did I know....lol. I wouldn't dare take that back from her now...I just hope I don't have to sit waiting too long. I don't wanna settle on a 2000 series for just as much if not more money than a 3080 but gaming is all I have. Definitely looking forward to getting back into some of these new and upcoming titles!! I am also going to consider a 4k widescreen monitor with gsync once I see how everything on the new build runs!

This is a step in the right direction, but I think I signed up for notifications with my work email...to make sure I saw the notification as soon as possible...but I'm not registered with my work e-mail, so I lose again

This is an interesting system. I was sitting thru the dead website on the 80 and 90 launch. After it all sold out, I put autonotify on all of them on both launches, moment the site was working again. Since I needed multiple cards, I really didn't care which ones I bought first.  There's gotta be thousands of auto notify to go thru. For those who just put it today, good luck.

Can we change our EVGA account email address to be the same as the email we selected auto-notification for or is that going to mess things up?

Nah. Just change your EVGA profile email to the work address. Then you are still inline as you hoped.

Unfortunately, some of us will not benefit from the new solution, but it's probably the best solution overall.

It would be more effort, but maybe EVGA could check the site logs. "Oh, you were online logged in at 6:00am trying to add a card to your cart, or actually got to the checkout process and got booted: YOU ARE NEXT IN LINE!!" Wouldn't that be nice, but who know how many people that was.

Anyway, good luck. Hope you get one somewhere!

Thanks that's good to know. What if I'm not 100% sure which email I subscribed to the notifications with?
Is there any way to see "My notifications" or add two email address?

I think, to prevent multitudes of questions - could we somehow see what date we requested a notification? It would at least be something... I'd love to know if I'm in a "today's date" or... 3 weeks ago.

Fair enough. I wasn't reading through every page. Bottom line is: This is clearly going to take months.
