Hopefully sometime today, or at least sometime this week, they will add a FAQ with all the common questions being asked. Seems like there is a cycle of the same questions. Not that they aren't valid, but pretty sure if we removed all the repeats the thread would lose a good 5 pages.

Can someone confirm whether auto notify has remained on after evga received stock, or whether auto notify reset after stock arrived? I turned it on several times (starting on launch day) but never received any emails. Also, if I were to turn it on again today, would it reset my position on the queue or would I keep my original position, assuming I am in the system already?

I like the new system, but if orders are going to be tied to the auto notify system, we need a way to verify whether it’s on.

Primary Monitor: LG CX48 (4k OLED)
Keyboard: Corsair K95 Platinum RGB
Mouse: Corsair Scimitar Elite RGB
Headset: Arctis Pro Wireless

Yes it remained on, and no you won't lose your place if you hit the notify me again.

You dont think I already sent an email immediately when I saw a dead link.  Don't worry I am trying.  That's why I am here on the forum. lol

Yes we will process your order. Going forward emails will be sent only during business hours. Congrats you were one of the first to hit auto notify :)

Re: New EVGA.com Notification Checkout Process 2020/10/06 07:42:45 (permalink)
As I mentioned before.  Incredibly appreciative of all the work put into getting this setup.
In the same boat as many others in that I know I signed up for notify on the XC3 and decided to move up to the FTW3 instead.  Don't think I hit the auto-notify button at the time.

Either way, I'm quite glad that a queue system is in place.  It isn't a perfect solution (don't think there is one), but it is a huge step to getting the cards into the hands of users rather than just the scalpers at this point.

Everyone wants their ETA and as someone who has been struggling while waiting on this release, I again want to express gratitude to the team involved and have become a HUGE fan of EVGA's determination to help those loyal to/interested in their brand.
Not that they will see this post, but again, thanks!

Jacob, based off of the current queue length, do you have any idea of how long you think it would take to cover it? I realize the queue sizes are different for each SKU, but just looking for a general idea of a possible wait time.

This is a very awesome move by EVGA, and cements my resolve for wanting to continue as a happy customer, replacing my EVGA 2080ti with a 3090, but we (read: "I") need to curb our expectations. This can still mean a very long wait. EVGA is still supplying vendors, and that's going to eat up the bulk of their supply. Also, I'm curious how the 5 hour supply holds work. I'm assuming that, at any given point in time, their entire EVGA store stock will be tied up in these hold blocks, and if they are only sending notifications during regular business hours, that's what, one maybe 2 rounds of notification per day? Seems it'll be a slow process.

Let's all be thankful we at least have a place in line. It's way better a place to be as a customer than we (read: "I", again) was/were yesterday.

Thanks for being customer focused, EVGA!

Unfortunately, that is a loaded question. It all depends on how fast the supply comes in. Any estimate offered, can backfire and cause more frustrations.

Just know they have an empty dock every day as they are doing everything they can to get the supply in and out as fast as possible!

Personally I'm assuming at least 3-6 months to get through everyone. Hopefully I'm wrong and it's quicker.

Fully aware it's a loaded and unanswerable question. But sometimes those need to be asked. Even if the answer is they can't give an answer.

Thanks for getting back to me but I didn't hit the order screen yet.  I clicked the link in the email and it takes me to an EVGA page with red text and a white background "The link is unavailable!".

I had been hitting notify me every day. Hopefully it won't reset everytime. I just want a ftw 3080.... Nothing else will make me happier.... Unless I can get the one with the waterblock. I don't think they are making those yet... Might be able to buy separately

Will there be any confirmation emails regarding queue position or even just confirmation that yes, I am indeed in the queue, or ETA’s? Thanks for all your time on this stuff so far, I greatly appreciate this move, especially since my CDW order for an inferior product looks like mid-December now.

You won't lose your spot for spamming the notify button. As for the hybrid and hydro copper, Jacob mentioned on twitter to expect them around end of October or sometime in November.
