Sadly, I don't have any information on the Gaming cards.  I have to imagine now that all three cards (70s, 80s and 90s) are launched that they will start manufacturing for all the various skus.  Otherwise, why list them all at launch?  They could have held back the gaming and gaming blacks for more than a month at this point OR stated on the page "LIMITED AVAILABILITY".  Anything to help us determine that maybe we should pursue more than either the Gaming or Gaming Black.

Woah. Where is it shipping to?? I was going to use a cargo forwarder because I'm outside the US, but I might just go with that option instead.

For the 3090 FTW3 Ultras, I think 2 in total that I read about. More 3080 FTW3 Ultras and some of the new 3070 cards I believe.

That’s about right. Don’t know numbers yet but will try to do some simple math tonight and report back.

Decided to hit auto notify on the 3070 since I actually was able to do it on day one this time.

Still debating if I should wait for the 3080. My 780ti that I had for about 8 years died 2 weeks ago and I ended up getting the GTX970 on offer up just so I can squad up on COD temporarily. If the 3080 is that much better than the 3070 and can outlast the 3070 in the long run (both life and future games for a long time) then I can patiently wait. I'm just 1244 on the spreadsheet for the 3080 lol.

Could always just get the 3070 if it comes first then use the Step-Up program. I think stock will at least normalize before it gets to that point in the queue.

There are a lot of lessons for all of us (EVGA and, especially, NVIDIA included) to learn for next time....

This is why I wish they had mentioned their priorities for the availability of different cards. I chose which cards I wanted to be notified about based on the assumption the cards listed would be available. Of coarse I also assumed this wasn’t a paper launch so I didn’t ask to be notified until the second week 🤭. Lesson learned. 😬

Ah, I was hoping more 90's got out. Dang bro you're so close now. It was nice to see the list, that may have been the thing that allowed me to get side track a bit today. I was using it as a tool to visualize my place, but when asshat messed with it I stoped looking and it started to slip past me. I would suggest that other folks here pay close attention not to loose your place.

The benchmarks, including the AMD cards, put the price to performance curve and higherachy of cards like this (in non-ray traced games; using new AMD processors on X5xx series boards).

100% AMD 6900xt $1000
99% nVidia 3090 $550 too expensive @ $1500
92% AMD 6800xt $650
92% nVidia 3080 $500 too expensive @ $700
79% AMD 6800 $ 580
75% nVidia 3070 properly priced @ $530

So in terms of price to performance given the AMD parts, only the 3070 is the only properly priced nVidia card.

Got (touchwood) a Zotac OC 3070 today. Way over priced with shipping at 632 all in but atleast I get 5% back with PayPal so 600 net otd.If only BB and BoA hadn't done me over this am, the FE would have been mine for 465 odd...ah well life goes on. I will probably get one EVGA and sell the Zotac a little over cost if that but really hoping for a 3080 now, have some evga bucks coming soon so hope they come together. Probably gonna cancel the cyberpowerpc as good a deal that was , too much hassle parting out and too little time. Praying to the gods the card actually comes on time.

Now my main decision is, do i get a 1000w or an 850w psu to replace this anemic 600w...

I bought an 850 originally. Then I reconsidered based on what I’ve been hearing about voltage spikes. So I bought a 1000w PSU. Took forever to find one available. And I was too late to return the 850w. I wouldn’t have been able to afford it had I not offloaded the 850w to a brother for MSRP.

Had the launch gone more smoothly, it would have already been in my system and I wouldn’t have had time to rethink everything. I am not sure if it is a blessing or a curse re my psu issue -- time will tell —but I am darn sure I would have rather had a normal launch and have a gpu in my system even with an 850w. That is all by way of saying, if you can afford the 1000w I would get it for any system with a 3080 or a 3090 if you intend to OC. Otherwise, I think the 850w should be fine.

Ive wanted to try OCing, but i dont have a good enough understanding and dont want to fry anything lol! I was considering between the corsair 850x and the Evga 850 or 1000w g3. Between the 3070 and the monitor upgrade i got recently, my extra breathing room budget is really light. I just dont think the 600w will be able to run it everything smoothly, especially when i get the FTW 3080 step-up, not that my system is High end anymore. Just a i7-6700k, a 1070 Armor, 3 fans, and a couple SSDs.

I went with the 1000w G3.  Even if it ends up being overkill, I like the head room.

On paper it definitely should be almost comically overkill but with young drivers and the specter of voltage spikes and some of the problems people have reported I hate committing to solid answers these days. It's a really tiresome situation because while a 10900k can pull a ton of watts in AVX heavy workloads with anything less it's entirely plausible that you could do a modest overclock and still be pulling less than a 190 watts during a linpack stress test. It's typically rare for a workload to max out your GPU while also putting a CPU through a linpack style workout so it's distressing that people have power supplies that are rated to handle such CPU+GPU combos but are seemingly coming up short with current driver releases.

Hi ,I found that the 3090 ftw3 ultra has not changed for more than 2 days. Is it because the manufacturer has not delivered the cards or is the form not updated?

Both, but no cards is the main reason. Unfortunately, the form was sabotaged. People are still replying with their email notifications though so it's not all bad. There was a small drop of 3090's at the beginning of the week and nothing since. I'm just speculating, but based on how the 3080 rolled out there could be a larger 3090 drop next week.

There was a smaller 3080 drop last week followed by a noticeably bigger one this week. Maybe that trend will continue. We'll see.

Lots of good news today.  If volume this week is the normal going forward, we're going to start going through the FTW3 Ultra queue quickly.

EVGA is doing a great job. There are so many people out there that want cards and they cant get enough chips to fulfill all those orders, but you have recognize that they have been doing the best that is possible in this situation to level the field. November should be interesting, we will see the Kingpin card launch and I think Hydrocopper too. Very cool stuff coming!

10/29/20 - I received my email from EVGA reference the RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra with a link to purchase. It was so easy. The associate code was already in my checkout giving me a 90.00 discount. Yes, over 1800.00 is a lot, but I have been waiting for this since march. I would like to THANK EVGA VERY MUCH for creating this list so the regular people have a chance. I have been reading a lot and found I still wanted the extra RAM regardless of the price. I am upgrading from a 980 ti and I now have the intel i9-10900k cpu. I am only waiting for the evga water block to complete this card. Again, THANK YOU to EVGA for this well thought out list.

This is the time/date email I received for those keeping track.

This is a copy/paste from the EVGA email I received.

Dear Valued Customer,

This email is being sent in response to your request to be notified with availability updates for product 24G-P5-3987-KR and this product was marked as being in stock on 10/29/2020 at 3:39 PM PST.

I hope this helps.

Congratulations!  Fantastic news.  May I ask when was your exact date/time stamp of your original auto-notify registration? Knowing that data point would be really helpful given that tab of the spreadsheet is broken.

EDIT: Thank you for reporting the date/time stamp of the email -- I am actually looking for the date/time stamp of when you first signed up for the auto-notify.  It may be found in your "My EVGA" section in the "Member" tab at the top of the page.

Yes, that is the nice thing about the signature banners.  You should be able to click it prior to your actual purchase process and it shoud remember which associate code you selected down the road when you get your "invitation to purchase" email (that is the idea anyway).

I hope you enjoy your card! And thanks for participating in the thread.  Your wait -- other than for the water block -- is almost over.

I guess the sheet is down, but anyway most of my list is not included. See below.
It seems that I have advanced form 318 to about 200 on the card I really want which is the 3080 FTW3 gaming.
Thanks for the effort guys!

I guess the sheet is down, but anyway most of my list is not included. See below.
It seems that I have advanced form 318 to about 200 on the card I really want which is the 3080 FTW3 gaming.
Thanks for the effort guys!

Hi.  The best information we have is from the spreadsheet which shows that 10/6/2020 12:22:49 am puts you at number 339 in the list with the unfortunate context that we have not seen any material drops of this particular sku.

In short, I am not aware of any movement of the 3080 FTW Gaming.  I am hopeful that with the launch of the 3070 EVGA's focus will shift to serving all of their skus: Ultra, Gaming and Black across all three lines.  I have nothing to base this on...but I choose to believe.

I'm kind of excited about my notify date and time for the 3070, but as slow as day one for the 3080 queue has went, I'm not sure...

I sent "kevintrisha" a DM asking the same question.  That post appears to be his only one in this thread...I am not sure he will be back.

I wonder which email I'll get first, 3080 XC3 black or the 3070 XC3 black?

Do I look like a mushroom?.
No, then why do you keep me in the dark?.

An informed consumer is a happy one.
