kraade Happy humpday may the Camels, be ever in your favor, Now for the saltyones, the reason NE scalp-uffle only has 12 GB , is they get to charge more than 100% mark up for the almost, exact same card, I am wondering if the 3080 is dead at this point. It's sad.
i dont think newegg is doing 100% markups on cards. when they sell a evga card is just about the same price that evga sells if for. But i do agree that the 3080 is dying a slow death. personally , if i needed a 3080 style card and the 3080's are mia, id go for the 3080 12gb. very very close in performance to the 3080 ti and about $130 cheaper
Yeah it's not Newegg doing the markup, it's Nvidia doing what looks like a ~$500 markup on the silicon they ship to the AIB for the 12gb vs old 10gb, and then each AIB is marking that up from $200-700+. EVGA seems to be doing the least amount of 'lol capitalism' pre-scalping, good on them.

This post is spurred by enewt's opening this morning....and with not much happening last, or this week, thought I'd ask. I'm a relatively new member (late 2020) of this campfire community. Granted, I bought a EVGA 650 ti Boost a long time ago and slapped it into the pc. I'd like to ask some of you who may have the knowledge about previous EVGA card releases. Did they advertise, produce, and sell this many SKU's? Or, were there advertised 'dead' SKU's that were never really produced (3895)? I think the current state of the world plays into the dearth of cards, but wanted to bounce it off you all.

There have always been a lot of SKUs with recent generations. As far as the 3895, they were produced. How many, who knows. Nvidia allocates GPU chips to the AIBs and as such the AIBs can only produce what they are given. There is still a very real shortage of semiconductors everywhere and only time will make the situation better.

Doggman9 I have a question boys. My current queue stack is below. What happens if I remove the 3665-KL notify. Specifically, will the 3667-KL notify become Active = True, or not? Thanks US 08G-P5-3751-KR 2/1/2021 5:36:25 PM PT No False US 08G-P5-3755-KL 2/1/2021 5:35:28 PM PT No False US 08G-P5-3767-KL 2/1/2021 5:35:12 PM PT No False US 08G-P5-3667-KL 2/1/2021 5:34:42 PM PT No False US 08G-P5-3665-KL 2/1/2021 5:34:34 PM PT No True
According to my linear estimates, the notifies should come on these dates at the current pace: 3751: 3/29/5387 21:03:43 (last report 37 weeks ago, 3070 XC3 Black)3755: 9/11/2022 13:22:54 (last report 4 weeks ago, 3070 XC3 Ultra)3767: 2/16/2022 06:40:48 (last report 2 weeks ago, 3070 FTW3 Ultra)3667: 6/21/2023 08:43:56 (last report 3 weeks ago, 3060 ti FTW3 Ultra)3665: 8/25/2149 02:18:37 (last report 33 weeks ago, 3060 ti FTW3 Gaming) If I was in your position, I would remove 3665 since the middle three look like they will come in the next 2 years. I would certainly stay in the 3767, then think more to pick between 3667 and 3755. EDIT: Looking at the above posts, looks like removing active queues will not reactivate newer queues you have. It used to be the case back in September/October 2021.

enewt … @EVGA_JacobF, you tweeted last week that we could expect a drop to the 3551 queue this week...just a few short business hours left in the week to make that happen...why wait? …

Hmm I wonder. I don't want to risk losing the active 3665 notify to find out but the note text on the notify page does seem to suggest it might activate the other notifies. Specifically, "EVGA allows only two active 30 Series product notifications. If more than two 30 Series product notifications existed prior to 10/11/2021, the notification system will only recognize the two oldest product notifications based on the date/time requested, as indicated with an Active status." All of my notifies pre-date the 10/11/2021 cutoff. Also, the 3665 notify is the oldest and as such would be active. It's perhaps worth noting I also have this notify below the 3665 notify which accounts for my 2nd 30 series notify. US 08G-P5-3663-KL 2/1/2021 5:33:58 PM PT Yes True However, the note also says "It is no longer possible to change or delete notifies." which suggests that even if I remove the 3665 notify none of the other notifies will activate. Are we 100% sure that I cannot re-activate one of my pre-10/11/2021 notifies by removing the 3665 notify??

Once you remove or deactivate a notify you cannot get that spot back, nor can EVGA support. So, if you remove the 3655 it's gone for good until they reopen the queues and you can get back in line..

Right. I understand that but the question is will the active status be transitioned to one of my other pre-10/11/2021 notifies as and I quote "the notification system will only recognize the two oldest product notifications based on the date/time requested." Once the older 3665 notify is removed will the system then recognize my next oldest notify as Active? I'm probably just grasping at straws, lol

No, it won't transfer to or activate another queue as they put you in the oldest ones you had. Basically all other spots have been forfeited for the oldest ones you have. Hopefully they're ones that are actually moving..

So it seems that Auto-Notify is the only way to do anything? I'm a new account, and the queue (even Queue 3.0) doesn't seem to be available. Looking for 3060 series cards, am I just out of luck?

You can also check the EVGA DIY Configurator often to see if there are any drops as well as the newegg shuffle, antonline, ect.

Correct. You can only get in line (and by line, I mean the non-linear queue 3.0) for 30 series with active notify buttons. Currently this is only the 3050 cards (and a $2,100 3090 Kingpin). Keep watching and maybe one day soon the 3060 sku# 3657 will open up. I believe they have fulfilled that entire queue. EDIT: If you are willing to accept an older gen card, then there are options for 2060 and 1660 out there as well. Notify buttons for those are first come first served from notification time. No queue.

The consensus around here is that EVGA stopped producing new 2060s and the notify buttons were enabled by mistake.

I've had good luck with EVGA. Previously scored an XC3 3060, which went into a family member's system. Recently scored a Z690 Classified, and I also got an FTW3 3070ti off the queue for myself. Disappointingly for my application (iRacing), the 3070ti performance hasn't been much better than an FHR ASUS 3070 that I had scored from NE Shuffle. I'm still occasionally GPU bottlenecking with a 10900k system and 4k monitor. Not a bad problem to have, but improvement is possible. Have been in the queue for a 3080, but still about 9 months away, and had no confidence that I would ever get one before the 40xx "paper launch", and more madness, began. Kept checking BB and MC, no result. Kept playing the NE Shuffle for 3080's and 3090's and getting "we're sorry..." and continued checking the EVGA DIY configurator and B-Stock. Although I've read reports that 12GB 3080's and other nice cards have occasionally popped up in the DIY configurator, all I've ever seen is 1030's. I was starting to lose hope, but I'm happy to report that my quest for a high-end card at MSRP or lower has finally ended - just now scored a 3090 Kingpin Hybrid off EVGA B-Stock! I figure that this along with my newly acquired EVGA Z690 Classified, some good DDR5, and a binned 12900k will be good enough for about 4 years.... hopefully we're all still around then! My advice to those of you who are still looking for a card: Keep looking! (Everywhere) Good luck everybody! /out

The Lunar New Year Lapse of Inventory ("LNYLI") is likely to continue until next week (at the earliest), so I am not expecting much from the queues today and tomorrow. It is almost as if Thor has been ordered to return to Asgard for a holiday. If this barren landscape continues through the end of the week, it would be consistent with how last year's post-Lunar New Year operated. Let's remember this LNYLI next year when folks who registered for the 3897 in June 2021 will still be waiting for their name to be called. (I hope I am kidding....) For the remainder of the week, I would keep an eye out on the NewEgg bundle-shuffle-thingy, the DIY tool, and your preferred retailer (e.g,. Best Buy, Amazon, Microcenter)...as I wouldn't expect much from the NA queues; perhaps they will find a box or two in the back of their warehouses. Congrats to EU for at least some reported drops overnight; I also received word that at least one 3551 dropped to the NA queues this week (it sounds like the anticipated drop turned out to be rather minor (even by our modest standards)...hopefully more next week). Best of luck today! No, it is my error. I didn't move the date on the report...just the time. I will edit it...thanks for the catch. Rough morning of work and family matters.

My best guess is the holdup with the queue is the 3090 TI being delayed by Nvidia. I'm sure they were probably planning on releasing a bunch of new skus at the end of jan and the beginning of feb, so they probably are just in a holding pattern.

I was looking at my spreadsheet, and I thought it looked awkward when there are essentially two tiers in one chart. Previously, I made a separate page for cards released in June 2021 (3080 ti and 3070 ti). So I decided to fork it to my local machine to experiment with having the June 2021 cards only in their own page. Do any of you have opinions on this matter?

rocketdoug I've had good luck with EVGA. /out
Congrats on the 3090 score. I had put in for a 3080 and the same 3090 kingpin. I figured id never get the 3090 and didnt plan on the monies. The 3090 came before the 3080. I bought it and am extremely happy with it. It does take up some space but well worth it.
