man I was selected for a 3060ti bundle on Newegg today... but i did not want to spend $850 for just a 3060ti and a monitor. Especially since I have no need for the card. This is actually the first time ive ever been selected for a card from the shuffle too, usually always get selected for a PS5 bundle or xbox bundle. Hopefully the 3080ti cards will start to have a lot of movement in the near future.

Depends on your exact SKU number and date/time of registration. I keep a spreadsheet that has long-term data on EVGA's queues, as well as little tools that allow me to make a prediction as to how soon someone will get something depending on when they signed up. vivithemage

Yeah. Although it says I joined May 28, 2021, I've been in a queue since January 21, 2021, when my EVGA account was brand new. Though I managed to get a 3080 ti by signing up on its second day (June 4, 2021, received last Decmber)

Is there any chance of getting my hands on even the lastest of the last positions in queue for the most basic model of 3080? I just wanted to upgrade my PC for christmas and did not pay any attention to the GPU crisis over the years and I dont want to pay ridiculous amounts for GPU in the market just because I wont feed the vultured that make gaming impossible nowadays. Or shall I just accept my defeat and play on my very old GTX 960?

The currently closed queues will stay closed until everyone that is in them has had an opportunity to buy your best bet for a card directly from EVGA store ... get in the queue when a new model is released or one of the old queues reopens you can check these places Where To Buy bottom line ... demand is much higher than the supply

I am no longer looking for a card, I sold the computer, I stayed with the laptop, in the children I got a PS5 and the cancer of waiting for a card has ended. 
There is no reason to buy something from EVGA again. Greek souvlaki  I do not know English I translate with Google .... Sorry.

Out of the blue, I got a notification: Dear Valued Customer,
This email is being sent in response to your request to be notified with availability updates for product 08G-P5-3797-KL and this product was marked as being in stock on 1/12/2022 at 12:08 PM PST. When I clicked the link it was saying the email associated with this notification didn't exist! I was like wow, how is that possible? Apparently, I had registered on EVGA long ago using another email. Changed my email address to the correct one and I was available to purchase! My 3070Ti was here the next day. I am coming from a 1070Ti so this is a major upgrade for me. I was fortunate enough to get a PS5 in September using the Sony queue and now this card. For those waiting, keep faith!

I have to say I'm impressed with EVGA. I have now received a notification for every card I queued for and this 4hr jump on the hybrid card on it's launch day really surprised me. Either everyone removed them from their 2 or they had a massive drop today. Either way I think I'm going to pass on it as I'm set with the card I've got and maybe pick up a hybrid kit when I move to a new case that can fit 2 AIOs. I would like to stuff all my components into a O11 air mini, but currently they won't all fit.
What are you all trying to fit? I'm going for two AIOs in an air mini, as soon as the 3998 queue pops for me.

For reference with the Elite 24hr early access and notification, I wanted to bring this over from the other thread so everyone is on the same page that there is no official early information about product release to Elite members. This would also likely breach the NDA with Nvidia, so that would be a good reason for this. There have been many comments about this lack of notification that I've seen in the forums, so I'll just leave this here for reference. EVGATech_LeeM

we should all have received an email for the 3080 12gb it seems but not many did, I didn't!
The email you are referring to was our standard newsletter, which we will usually send out after a product launches. There were no EVGA Elite emails announcing the product, and especially no emails announcing the product in advance.

I kind of gave up on the queue, not going to join the queue 3.0, feels like a never ending story, If I get the email great, if not, I'm going to wait for the 4xxx gen and maybe get a 4070, or whatever is close to the 3080 in performance
This is pretty much how i feel now. Given that there's a 3.0 queue system in place for the 12GB variant, and the fact that i have to start a new profile because i used a different email than my old one profile (with 3 of my EVGA products registered) - its pretty disappointing. This profile (new one) has 0 points and have been waiting for more than a year of getting a chance to get a 3080, well - might as well wait for the newer gen IF it comes out this spring/summer. Whatever - if it shows up, it shows up. Edit: Just added quotes. Getting used to the forum, sorry.
