I kind of gave up on the queue, not going to join the queue 3.0, feels like a never ending story, If I get the email great, if not, I'm going to wait for the 4xxx gen and maybe get a 4070, or whatever is close to the 3080 in performance

This is pretty much how i feel now.

Given that there's a 3.0 queue system in place for the 12GB variant, and the fact that i have to start a new profile because i used a different email than my old one profile (with 3 of my EVGA products registered) - its pretty disappointing.

This profile (new one) has 0 points and have been waiting for more than a year of getting a chance to get a 3080, well - might as well wait for the newer gen IF it comes out this spring/summer.

Whatever - if it shows up, it shows up.

Edit:  Just added quotes.  Getting used to the forum, sorry.

I believe that EVGA accessories like the mice and keyboards give you points.  If you need one, or a PSU or something maybe get it.
But since we don't know the tier structure, I'm not sure if having 1 or 2 points is actually better than having 0.

What are you all trying to fit? I'm going for two AIOs in an air mini, as soon as the 3998 queue pops for me.

Either the ATX Mobo has to go or the 280mm CLC. I will probably just wait till Ryzen 7000 drops and go the ITX route with that and new ddr5.

Meanwhile, I have had the opposite problem of a big case (Cooler Master HAF XM, borderline full tower).  It always sits on the floor, and we had to go to extra effort to find a desk that fits it.  Even then, it's a little space in the left side support, not on top.  My components could also fit in a smaller case, though I recently got a gigantic 3967 (3080 ti FTW3 Ultra) card which may limit what cases I can get (300mm long).

Also, since this is your 50th post, you can post links to the forum now!  Just letting you know for future reference.

I've found myself in this same boat, compromised old email address, set alerts on new profile. And now sat at the bottom of the pile.

No criticism of new queue system, EVGA are clearly doing a lot for the customers.

Not sure if its worth me making peripheral purchases if its only going to inch me a point or two which make no difference.

18 months GPU-less, genuinely curious how much my stubbornness will last haha

When EVGA resumes the Queue 3.0, will it become Queue 3.1, and will that be reflected on the Products page, or in the The forum?

You can use the offset bracket on top for 240mm rad gpu, then use 280mm on front for cpu

Or if there is enough clearance in the back compartment of the side 240 mount, put the radiator for gpu in the back with tubes going under the fans and have the fans on front side of side mount

I’ve almost totally lost faith in the queue at this point. Been registered and in it since few months after launch. :(

Your score “snapshot” is taken monthly, so it won’t show purchases since January 8 or whatever until February

I believe your score has to be from products bought in the last 3 years. Is that true? I have a score of 12 getting a RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra (3967), and it lets you input the date of purchase.

Until October 2020, I had 1 post on my account.
Come on in, the water is warm.  And with the salt, you float!

Yeah.  Although it says I joined May 28, 2021, I've been in a queue since January 21, 2021, when my EVGA account was brand new.  Though I managed to get a 3080 ti by signing up on its second day (June 4, 2021, received last Decmber)

Oh, yeah. I am definitely a newer user. My join date is only June 22... Oh wait. that says 2009. Hmm. Well, this is only my 220th post though. Most of my others were on the folding@home forums. TeamEVGA4Life. Sad note. My mother lost her fight with cancer just last month. The 16th. I cared for her since before I joined this forum. At least I see some movement on the 3959. Seeing the duration of their scoring period I am sure my score is rather low even though I have 9 cards registered on my profile (still using the 980ti x2 in my side rig). I think I have to stick to this queue rather than go for a new one. lol

Edit: Fixed my messed up quotes.

Re: New EVGA.com Notification Checkout Process 2022/01/16 00:02:48 (permalink)
My fingers are crossed right now. I was looking at the queue summary google doc. I registered in the queue for a 3080 FTW3 Ultra on Dec 12th 2020. According to the summary, someone that registered on Dec 4th 2020 got their notification.

But now I'm kind of torn. It seems ridiculously close to me getting a notification to buy one, but then knowing the typical release cycle, we're likely to see the 40xx series in Sept or so. But then it's likely to be the same ongoing shortage issue and it would be an entirely new queue blah blah blah. I'm still almost certainly going to snap up the 3080 when my notification comes in, but it's just one of those situations where I keep wondering if I'd be better off waiting. I'm not in a position like others are where they're coming from a 9xx series, or in some cases no gpu at all. I'm on a 10 series but it's beginning to show its age lol.

Is it safe to say the 30XX Black queue is dead?... apparently hasn't moved in over a year...

I wish I could believe it when I say "I'll wait for 4000", but we all know it's going to be just as impossible to get as current cards are.

That depends.  The Black queues are dead except for the 3060 (referring to my spreadsheet for historical data)

Why do we talk about Queue 3.0 when there are people still waiting from 2020 ( 2 years ago) to get a drop... EVGA should start finish with the 2.0 queue before start 3.0
I think 3.0 will be delayed probably half a year maybe more.

I would assume that user meant the 3060ti XC since the 3060 launched in December, and the 3060 wasn’t launched in 2020. The line above that shows the 3060ti FTW3, and makes more sense that they just forgot the Ti and added a 3 by accident.
