evgatorator Thank you, kind stranger! I opened that spreadsheet and had a near stroke while trying to figure out what goes where... I understand the current position could be off by a HUGE number because not everyone who signed up has added their data to that spreadsheet, but does the current position factor in those who have received notifications already or does the 220th position (for example) implies there are still 219 people ahead of me waiting for their notifications? Thanks again!
As you already implied, the positions does not really represent your true place in the queue. The thing the spreadsheet tells you best is roughly where the queue is in terms of time. So for instance, the last time for the 3080 ftw3 ultras is at around 8:10 AM on 9/17. Approximately 150 people for those on the queue list. So if you're sign up time is around 8 AM, you should be expecting an email soon. That said, it does say a little bit about the proportion of people in the total queue before you. for example, about 25% of the people signed up before 8 AM on 9/17. So going through the early hours will take a long time. I think the next 2 weeks will be very telling. If Nvidia can't pump out a good volume of cards before big navi, lets say move 2 hours, there is little reason to believe the big giant drops are coming. But Jacob says supply is improving week over week, so I hope the mountain of gpus are on their way.
I'm sorry but this is wrong. Your contradicting yourself in the first two sentences. For one, all the DIY data is malarkey and doesn't mean a thing. Until you have access to the real que data, everything is just a guessing game. Not a indicator, etc. Two, whats to say EVGA drops and sells a 1000 GPUs and only a small portion of people say they got theirs from this DIY database? People could than say EVGA isn't making enough GPUs, etc. Than you'll see people get upset, that's it forget it, I'm leaving EVGA for another AIB or jumping to AMD, etc. These are the possible negative affects against EVGA and misinforming the public on the que system for raising their hopes falsely. It's better being honest with someone like hey, you're in que and just wait for it whenever it comes versus a few people dotting down their names and some getting upset and canceling because of the high expectations it creates.
Nothing I said was untrue. Because your number 200 on the list means that you are not number 200 in the real queue. That's undeniable. If the latest queue time self reports that they received a card, at 8:10 AM on 9/17, then if you're near that time you should be receiving a card sooner than later. If you think it is bad to tell someone who has a 8:15 time that an email might be coming soon, than I don't know what to tell you. Jacob himself send that sign ups during the first day was the heaviest. The spreadsheet also shows that. None of this is that surprising. In fact last week, queue times moved more than any other week, showing that inventory is increasing. Any how, contrary to what you're saying, if anything, I'm trying to be realistic as to how long people should be waiting. We're not even out of the first day and we have people who signed up in October asking how come they haven't received their email yet. So don't be challenging my honesty. I am not misleading people in any way.

Added. You are number 548 for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra. That queue is moving pretty consistently each week (we are already through at least 150 folks on the spreadsheet). Good luck and may the wait be shorter than you expect.

hey northy so theres a google spreadhseet you can use to estimate queue length. We have hundreds of people who have contributed their dates and times. I will tell you now that late october means you are far away from a card, though, unless things dramatically change. Most of the products are still filling orders from the first few hours of launch day. So in your case i wouldn't be watching for notifications every day.

At this point anyone who is in early October or lower there really is no point in requesting to have an entry in that spreadsheet. You are so far down the line there is no point continuing to clutter up this thread with request after request after request after request. At the end of the day the only thing ANYONE should care about is what timestamp is the most recent. That really is the only thing that matters. If we aren't on your day and close to your hour then sit back and get ready to wait and wait and wait.

I've taken the liberty of adding you to the spreadsheet. You are number 1227 on the spreadsheet for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra.

Dang. Thanks for the heads up, I wont be holding my breath on this one. I read the first page and the last couple pages, but there are over 160 pages... Maybe a sticky should be made pointing to what date is being serviced now then people will have some clue as to months or weeks until their turn. I will not post again, sorry to "clutter it up" Thank you

I understand this sentiment. However, I feel like the one thing that was lacking from NVIDIA's 30 series release was a consideration of the consumer's perspective. It may be a little thing, but if some folks have only recently clicked "auto-notify" or found this thread, and they want to be added to the spreadsheet...if I am here and have a moment to do so, I'll add them. It might be a little thing, but if I were in their shoes, I would appreciate the effort. In any case, this is an entirely suboptimal situation. I am trying to be patient...but it is challenging at times. I hope for us all that our respective emails arrive earlier than anticipated; it is well established that our wait has already been longer than deserved.

Based on the numbers we're seeing with this notification list...looks like a hell of a lot of people are going to be turning graphics settings down when Cyberpunk releases next month.

I am 442 on the spreadsheet for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra but I am 18 from the last notification for the 3090 FTW3 Ultra About twice as much as I wanted to spend but I am going to have to bite the bullet just to get a RTX 30 series card. I read that Nvidia canceled the 3070 and 3080 models that would have had more memory because of production problems so 3090 FTW3 Ultra here I come. Hopefully I get the notification this week. Good thing for you (and others) is I will be cancelling all my other notifications once I order and receive my card Good Luck!

Don't let people discourage you. You aren't cluttering it up. At this point there are so many posts like yours. Of course you want to know and should be added to the list regardless of date. The whole point of the spreadsheet is so everyone can get an idea of the reality of the situation. Some people feel like the only posts that should be here are ones about when actuallt recieve and email and order but we are so beyond that. I realize now many people don't know about the spreadsheet or know how to use it (it's pretty simple, but anyway..) and the more people that get added the better. It only serves to clarify the situation. If people only want to see posts about receiving emails, I hate to break it to you but there aren't many, seems like only a few cards get sold per day. Hopefully that changes. And really those posts get added to the spreadsheet as well, so you could always look there for that info. That's what I do. No need to read every post in this thread. If it gets posted here, I'm sure it will be added. https://docs.google.com/s...bGBgY/edit?pli=1#gid=0

Well defended.....and correct.
Not exactly; his response not only underscores, highlights, and circles the fact that the only statistic that really matters is the latest reported receive time - like I've said before - it also shows the danger of depending on the spreadsheet for any meaningful kind of information. For instance, eknight76's statement about ramped stock is dangerous, because he has no useable statistical data to back that up. For all we know, 8AM (or early 8AM) could simply be the an anomaly during where a slump in signups exists, making it seem like the queue is moving faster. After all, it's the period in the US east coast when folk are heading out to lunch (instead of slacking off at work refreshing) or about to head to work for west coast. It could also be a mixture of things, like LESS stock from nvidia, which again itself could be an anomaly lasting one week, but also less signups in the first tenth of 8AM. We literally don't have enough information. To make matters worse, the dataset is skewed because we don't know if the signups for 7 AM represent 10% of total signups and the spreadsheet signups for 8AM represent 50%, for example, though this is only partially meaningful. Basically, the spreadsheet really shouldn't be used for anything outside of tracking the latest email times, which really is all that should have been done in the first place. It would have been a lot less work for whoever is managing the spreadsheet to just keep an updated table of the current position in queue, and less idiot-proof too. That said, as I've also said before, the spreadsheet isn't hurting anyone either, I guess, and some people simply feel good about having some kind of agency in this whole ordeal even though I also agree with the sentiment that anyone who signed up in October should really just stop coming for a few more weeks. It's also a bit annoying that 90% of the thread is spam about the spreadsheet... and the spreadsheet itself is a eye-bleeding mess, so it's not easy to parse or travel through either. It persists though so meh, and eknight76 is right that there's no harm in telling someone a rough guesstimation on times based on what we've seen. I kinda just wish it was a different, confined thread, and that we could use this one just to track the actual emails themselves.

rodleitao Hi, can someone please add me to the list?

Any idea when I will get one?
Thank you!
I've added you. Your current positions are: 3080 FTW3 ULTRA Current position: 1097 3080 XC3 ULTRA Current position: 388 3080 XC3 GAMING Current position: 277 3080 FTW3 GAMING Current position: 64 3080 XC3 BLACK Current position: 320 I cannot offer a guarantee as to when you might receive an invite email to purchase a card. Unfortunately, the queue that has moved the farthest to date is the FTW3 Ultra and you are more than 900 spots from the last reported email going out for that card. If I had to guess, I would say that your first email will likely concern the XC3 Ultra or the FTW Gaming. A total seriously wild @ss guess would be just after Thanksgiving. Again, total speculation on my part. Best of luck!

I agree and if you go back XX and XXX pages of this forum, you'll find me and others expressing a similar sentiment. But we are where we are...a suboptimal and challenging place. And, I agree that: Cerulean_Shaman That said, as I've also said before, the spreadsheet isn't hurting anyone either, I guess, and some people simply feel good about having some kind of agency in this whole ordeal....
For those just joining the thread: the spreadsheet we continue to reference is just a tool...and a rough one at that. It serves to tell us based on self-reported information approximately where EVGA is in each queue (each card has its own queue) by indicating the last reported "invite to buy" email EVGA has sent out. As I write this: 1. most of the queue progress has been made on the 3080 FTW3 Ultra queue (we are past 150 in the spreadsheet); 2. some queues have had no material progress (e.g., 3080 XC3 Black queue); and 3. past drop cadences are no guarantee of future drops (but the collective hope is that yields will improve, shipping will grow more consistent and that overall drop quantities will increase). Those of us who want a card will -- eventually -- be able to purchase a card. My hope for us all is that it is sooner than we have come to expect.
