This is really horrible!... I never got a chance to get the 2080Ti and looks like I will never get the 3080 or a 3080Ti when it comes out.
You have the same chance as everyone else here.

Sounds like total bunk that's giving people false hope about something. This whole thread feels like mega spam.
evga could get in 10,000 cards this week and none of this will matter.

How accurate is this database and is this info sync'd with EVGA? I feel this 'spreadsheet' is only giving people a false sense of hope.
Not very accurate. It's a voluntary sign up and lots of people don't know about it I'm sure. But it's better than nothing and even if it's off it gives some kind of rough estimate. I'd rather have it than not.
Yup, as Justin said, it's only as accurate as the info supplied by individuals - the spreadsheet is not official and is not run by EVGA or linked with EVGA databases in any way, it is purely an effort by the community to keep us all a little better informed.
It serves as a reasonable indication of where you are relative to others and relative to where EVGA are at with sending out emails, so in that regard it is very useful.
It does not tell you how much stock is going out on any particular day in the future, so even though EVGA may have sent out 30 cards a day for 4 days in a row, on the following 5th day there might be 0 cards or there might be 100, we just do not know. It is better than being completely in the dark though, and at least gives an indication of when you might expect an email.
Also keep in mind we keep hearing that NVidia is ramping up production, but we've yet to see that materialize. Maybe this week? Who knows - we though it was going to happen last week, but it completely failed to appear, with only a small handful of cards going out on Thursday and Friday.
We keep hearing rumors that Nvidia is ramping up...but we also know that the CEO said there is going to be issues until next year. I think it may ramp up a bit..like double maybe triple or so....which is nice but won't instantly burn through orders. It is going to take time no matter how you slice it unless a miracle happens and they somehow pull a 10-20x+ ramp up out of another dimension, but I think that would be delusional.

As you already implied, the positions does not really represent your true place in the queue. The thing the spreadsheet tells you best is roughly where the queue is in terms of time. So for instance, the last time for the 3080 ftw3 ultras is at around 8:10 AM on 9/17. Approximately 150 people for those on the queue list. So if you're sign up time is around 8 AM, you should be expecting an email soon. That said, it does say a little bit about the proportion of people in the total queue before you. for example, about 25% of the people signed up before 8 AM on 9/17. So going through the early hours will take a long time. I think the next 2 weeks will be very telling. If Nvidia can't pump out a good volume of cards before big navi, lets say move 2 hours, there is little reason to believe the big giant drops are coming. But Jacob says supply is improving week over week, so I hope the mountain of gpus are on their way.

I'm sorry but this is wrong. Your contradicting yourself in the first two sentences. For one, all the DIY data is malarkey and doesn't mean a thing. Until you have access to the real que data, everything is just a guessing game. Not a indicator, etc. Two, whats to say EVGA drops and sells a 1000 GPUs and only a small portion of people say they got theirs from this DIY database? People could than say EVGA isn't making enough GPUs, etc. Than you'll see people get upset, that's it forget it, I'm leaving EVGA for another AIB or jumping to AMD, etc. These are the possible negative affects against EVGA and misinforming the public on the que system for raising their hopes falsely. It's better being honest with someone like hey, you're in que and just wait for it whenever it comes versus a few people dotting down their names and some getting upset and canceling because of the high expectations it creates.

enewtKeep in mind, however, there is no guarantee that EVGA will use the same system for 3070s as the “botters” will have notice and may try to game the system. The queue systems was available to EVGA because they announced it several weeks in.
It'll be a lot of work, but EVGA could probably filter the notify sign ups and delete requests from profiles that are only a few days/weeks old (specifically ones created right after the new checkout process announcement). That's one option.

The position reflects your place on the spreadsheet from day 1. Some cards, like the 3080 FTW3 Ultra have already had 150+ folks on the spreadsheet receive their email inviting them to purchase the card. The other cards have had little if any inventory so you are basically starting from #1 on most cards. And, again, there is untold numbers of folks who have not self-reported to the spreadsheet so the sheet is -- at best -- a rough estimate of your place among the total who registered for auto-notifies. That's not a bad idea. I do worry, however, that some bot accounts were created for the 3080 list back on October 5. We are in a suboptimal situation with no silver bullets....

No. EU gets nothing, almost bo stock anf certainly no queueing yet. They are " working on it " and have " No ETA " but they " hope to have more news soon ". It has been that answer for 2 weeks at least so I wouldn't count on EU having a queueing before December or 2021. You're doomed to watch US gets their notification and cards rolling and been treated as premium citizens while all other countries (except Canada that can still order on NA store) is basically considered useless customers. At least, that's the feeling of many people here that aren't in US / Canada.

For what it's worth, it's still pathetically slow for us "premium citizens," and our realistic options are pretty slim (Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, and Microcenter for the lucky few) with randamo exceptions for AIBs that are self-selling (Zotac). On the contrary, the EU has quite a larger pool of stores that are the prime tech vendor, usually within a particular region or country, that also set across full EU vendors. For example, some people on reddit were just talking about a vendor that ONLY ships in Germany, so if you weren't German, SOL. Likewise, while it's difficult to have any real sense, it seems like way more cards overall are being obtained in the EU with the exception of FE and EVGA cards. FE is because Nvidia gave EU the middle finger, though it's not as if throwing the stock at Best Buy did us Americans any favors. In EVGA's case, please remember that they are a U.S. company. Many vendors only service their local country (or countries), or at least prioritize them, and that seems to be the case here. Considering the limited stock and this fact, it's really not a surprise that the situation is as it is. Honestly, even if they set up a queue with EU, all that would happen is that the line for everyone would slow down every more, and we're already crawling 10 minute spans a week. I understand your frustration, but there's nothing really shocking about how they're handling things in regards to regions.
