They exist, but mostly going to retailers. The queue seems limited mostly to the Ultra varieties (with a few exceptions).

It is one of the models, that are only made enough of to send to Retailers for contractual obligations due to low profit margins
Your best bet at this point is to get into the refresh/new models rumored to be coming soon, or get from Best buy/Newegg Shuffle/Amazon etc

Yes, there are people here that have been in the queue since September, October, November, etc. There are not enough GPUs to meet demand. Eventually, your time will come. The best approach is being registered to every queue possible, and to continue to search for cards through alternative channels.

3080 is still slow, a single pallet would move the que days, not minutes , still a trickle and supposed to be this way for a while unfortunately

The troubles with Taiwan excluded, a pallet doesn't hold so many cards. You could call it 140 or 500 or 1000. That many cards dropped into a 3080 queue offering would move it minutes at best. Probably seconds. Not days. Or a day.
That said, some of my best friends from my college days were from Taiwan. They were so good and smart and fun to hang out with. I hate that they are facing troubles there.. and they are always facing troubles. I will always love Taiwan based on those relations only second to the people of Iraq (after my home country). Not everyone loves America, but it is where I grew up and it's pretty good overall. Some warts and worse, but tell me somewhere that doesn't have those.

Ah well, I guess I was close enough to buying the 3898 at the original MSRP. Now I just hope they don't further increase the price or at least not by much by the time I get to buy it. It's already $100 more. IMO even if the 3080ti comes out first I think the 3080 has better value so I'm sticking to waiting for this hybrid.

What to do for the last day. How about a sun setting view behind a warlock on a vehicle you lived in more days than you ever imagined you would when you were 10? Done.
My son just got back to Hawaii after blatantly not listening to me how to go about getting back. Why fly to Arizona? Who knows. Teenagers. I sometimes feel like there's a lot 19 year olds posting.. and it compounds my covid vaccine headache at this time.
But here we are. I think Thursday was good. It was fantastic for anyone who got that notify. Most anyone, because life matters too. I think Friday, today on the east coast, will be similarly impressive. I wish everyone the best of luck.

I really like this queue system, I think it's much better than having to camp out on websites (or have stock alerts and have to check your phone every 10 seconds) because then if you just about miss an alert and check your phone around 5 minutes later, then it'll be gone and in the U.K (where I live), we only usually have monthly drops or rare drops of cards.
