Has the "notify me" program distributed any product yet ? If yes when ? And When could we reasonably expect the next distribution ? Thank You

You're talking about the auto-notify button? Yes, EVGA has distributed some EVGA-branded gpus to the North American Notify queues (less to the European Notify queues).  Here is this morning's update as to where the NA queues stand (pre-today's drop): North American Notify Queue Summary

For EU's queues: EU Notify Queue Summary (blame BovineGamer)

I hope it helps.

With my luck, we are going to get to within 5 minutes of the cards I'm queued for then they will be discontinued for the TI versions, oh well.  (if you read this in Marvin's voice from Hitchhiker's guide.... its funny)

Is EVGA the only one who has price updated on the web ?

I watched ASUS.it and i have not found prices

If NVIDIA would force partners to put price on the web

We could solve scalping of shops

Best Buy puts all of their prices on the website, regardless of stocking status. And I don't think that would solve the scalping issue. People are still going to scalp.

EVGA sells cards by themselves. That is why they put prices on their website.
ASUS does not sells cards directly to customers, but they do have "Where to buy" link on product page, following this links you can find prices. I doubt that this retails will rise card prices without ASUS permission.

Friends, Best Buy is only Best Buy . For example They do not sell to italy .
But i remember that NVIDIA sent to them their graphic cards MONTHS after the launch
because of their politics with price
I would like to have Best Buy in Italy but i don't have
Mediaworld sent some days ago an email telling  "this asus 3080 will not be available in the future and deleted my auto notify"
This is the situation
Do not speak of prices.
I know there are countries where the situation is worse than Italy
So coming back to the discussion
Asus do not sell directly , yes ,
but, hey, why they do not put prices under their models ?
I don't know why
but then we are robbed from shops
for this reason

This is why i am here
I will buy EVGA
that sell directly

Grats all!

I need the 3898 to hit 10:23:46

One drop a month so 5-6 Months it seems.
Joy

Unless drops get bigger and more frequent, it might be a lot longer than that. As of right now, the 3898 has only moved about 20 seconds so far today. It's likely a little more than that, and there will probably be a straggler drop tomorrow as well, but the most recent time stamp that reported back here is 9:06:24. I'm at 9:08:44 and I don't expect to see an email until August or September. That's based on 1 drop per month and 45 seconds of queue time, which is about how it has been going with that SKU.

There is not much self reported data on the 3898 queue. I know that people were having trouble getting in until about 9:15, so I expect the queue to crawl until then. After that it opened up, but people also stopped reporting so who knows how thick it is between 9:15 and 10:23:46.

For sure, everyone who has dug in and had to work in a full contact space.  Builders, assemblers, shippers, on and on.  But specifically for this thread, them evga employees.

Retail is a funny game.  Suppliers cannot "dictate" prices, as this would get them sued by the federal and state governments.  So they have a suggested price and a list price.  The list price is for the stores.  The suggested price is what they "suggest" retailers sell it at.  Bigger retailers can throw their weight in, think of walmart or other big ones, and say no, I do not like your list price.  So then you get this thing called trade spend.  It's exactly what you aren't supposed to do, but you found a clever way around it.  Asus cannot dictate prices, but they can nod and wink and do the same thing.

I accept your pessimism and support it.  Hopefully it's a month or two from now.  Take the toxic and keep it at your home.  No need to spread it.

"Friends, Best Buy is only Best Buy . For example They do not sell to italy ." You didn't mention anything about Italy or any countries in general, all you said was "Is EVGA the only one who has price updated on the web ?" so I said yes, there are other places/manufacturers where you can find the current price on the web. I'm sorry that they don't sell to Italy, but you weren't asking anything about that and didn't give any additional context to your question.
"Do not speak of prices." - YOU asked about prices. What?

We would be much further along if those pallets were not being sold direct to miners.

what wrong with miner.. they are using gpus are they not?.. if you're blaming them for prices.. well look at 2000 series... nobody bought them   2080 ti were sitting on amazon for weeks.. sooo.. people complain about price.. then when price is low they dont buy.. now when theres no supply and price is high.. they cant buy.. people will complain about anything

You misunderstand. I am talking about AIBs selling direct to miners or scalpers. They are all doing it. Not that I blame them when extra money is to be made. I just wonder who profits.

Serious movement? It was 30 minutes. I hardly call that “serious” movement. Maybe if it was 3-5 hours I would say it’s serious

u realize time movement does not equal to cards moved.... u can literallly have 23098423098409238409238409238409238409832 queue within 1 min n then 100 people queue after 10 hours...

I’m entirely aware of that. I still categorize movement significance by time because that’s the only metric we have that is somewhat reliable(thank you for enewt). If we had hard numbers, we could categorize movement much better.

The worst part was, I tried all morning to get in the Queue for 3657, website would just hang, then I (thought I) successfully got on there at 12:05PM, but when I checked my notifies a couple hours later it was nowhere to be found, so I had to redo it several thousand people later.

I feel the same especially on the 3657, i'm right behind you....big jumps for a couple of weeks and when you start to expect the mail, it slows down

The worst part was, I tried all morning to get in the Queue for 3657, website would just hang, then I (thought I) successfully got on there at 12:05PM, but when I checked my notifies a couple hours later it was nowhere to be found, so I had to redo it several thousand people later.

It was the same for me! Page kept freezing in the am, and was finally able to get a confirmation after a couple of attempts in the afternoon

If I had just entered the queue for the 3897 when I did the other 3080's I would have had it already. :( Closest other card is 3895 and that's an hour and 20 minutes away still

You guys think there will be a noticeable difference in performance between a 3080 vs 3080ti for 1440p ultrawide?

Depends on what CPU, which game or usage, and what you would consider noticeable.  If your CPU is already struggling to keep up, then definitely no.

It's in my sig, a 10900k. I only have a 1070 in my build right now as I'm waiting to get either the 3080 or the Ti, so I still have a 1080p monitor. Just hoping to sign up for the ti when it opens but wondering if the price jump will be worth it.

What?

Well,
Best Buy is only a US seller.
Nvidia sending them their cards because they do not make jokes with prices
But the remaining part of the world ?
"Mediaworld" is an example of Big distribution in Italy selling hardware components for PC
They have nothing and as i have said "they have deleted my notify telling they will not have an asus 3080 TUF in the future"
I have tried . For a moment i have thought that US Big distribution and Italy Big distribution were the same
They are not.
eVGA Is the only manufacturer telling prices of his products, updating them and selling
Asus in italy do not say what are prices.
the point is that then shops called distributors in Italy skyrockets prices every month
So prices of 3090 went from 2000 euro to 3000 euro (for example drako.it)
i can make a simulation :-)
EVGA 3090 FTW3 1619,99 +VAT 22% = 1976.38 EURO
best distributors of italy:
Drako.it ASUS 3090 ROG STRIK GAMING OC = 2999,00 EURO VAT INCLUDED
Nexths.it ASUS 3090 ROG STRIK GAMING OC = 2799,00 EURO VAT INCLUDED

AVENGER PC: Cooler Master HAF X | Gigabyte Z490 Vision D | i9 10850Ka | Arctic Liquid freezer || 240 | 16 Gb T FORCE Dark Z fps (ddr 4000 c16 RAM ) | Dreaming 3080 TI | Corsair AX 1200i

AVENGER PC is the computer for the project READY PLAYER ONE using some new secret tech of next build:

NEXT GENERATION ENTERTAINMENT PC is the computer for the project ATLANTIS

Probably not, but actually getting a card will be worth the price difference!

Plus you’ll have a little more performance to spare when more demanding games come out.
