My guess here is that EVGA will release new part numbers for the limiter-enabled version of the same cards we have queued up for already, then just transfer us all over to the new card at some break point when their stock of old SKUs runs out. Just a guess, but they would be wise to do this.
I doubt it.
They will just open new SKUS, and let the old SKUS rot on the vine.
3881 for example.
But we will see.
We will see. Likely the new 3881 replacement will still rot, but the 3755 replacement will keep moving at a good clip. If they do go with fresh new queues, then there will be both rejoicing and outrage, depending upon where you sit in line.

Best Buy puts all of their prices on the website, regardless of stocking status. And I don't think that would solve the scalping issue. People are still going to scalp.

ASUS does not sells cards directly to customers, but they do have " Where to buy" link on product page, following this links you can find prices. I doubt that this retails will rise card prices without ASUS permission.
