Got notified for 3657 on Apr 27 and decided to let it pass (the only reason I'm upgrading from GTX-1060 6GB SC is for RTX, and IMHO, the reviews appear to show that the 3060 Ti is well worth the extra $70 over the 3060 for that purpose). Because you can also achieve "elite" status that way pretty quickly. It takes about 15 minutes.
I know, I'm already elite from purchases but my point was that I think vndragonslayer1 has somehow been missing my point. My point being that genuine good will toward loyal customers would look different than what this currently is and that this looks a lot like naked marketing with "loyal customer" wrapping paper.

I tried that but most don't do International shipping and you have another 21% to pay on top to the gov if it did get sent. I don't mind the wait as I'd rather get it from EVGA even with 21% Tax its still miles cheaper.

I think if you are from Europe, it's worth trying to buy 3000 series card from USA and then try to ship it to your country in EU. At least its going to be cheaper, because when you have price of 1600€ (~1950$) for 3080 in stores, and 2200€ (~2650$) for 3080 from scalpels it's just madness.
P.s. The main problem is, stores like best buy don't seem to ship their stuff around the world, and I cant seem to find any other way of shipping it. (Maybe make some friends in us and ask them to ship it to you)
That's what I'm talking about, it's so funny that even with extra 21% it's still cheaper than buying from local stores which give you like 200%+ to the price, and if you need gpu asap for studying or working, you don't have any other options. You either get ripped off by local stores or by scalpels. P.s. As I've seen, in USA the situation is much better than in Europe. Idk why, but I have feeling that Europe is being left aside or something. Because in USA the stock is still low, but it's much bigger than in Europe because I can see that in US stores prices are like 10-20% more, on other hand, in EU we can see these ridiculous prices, and we cannot do nothing about it.

First post, because I have never felt the need. I am only here for the queue. 11/21/2020 5:04:41 PM On another note I have used and still using EVGA products just never bothered to register them as most were bought through Newegg. EVGA 750G3, Evga gtx 1070 ftw hybrid, Evga Z370 ftw m/b Will say, I enjoy reading most of the posts.

Doesn't have to be bought from evga. I registered my 1080 from newegg. It was about six months ago, but I think they just asked for the place you bought it, and in my newegg case, the order number maybe. * edit - I'm pretty sure I had to upload the invoice. But it was online (newegg), so that was easy to get.

Giving up on the 3060 may not be a good idea unless you are seconds away from the 3060ti notification. The ti is just one step better by ~20% fps than the 3060 12GB.

Only if they registered them. I did not, EVGA stuff does not break often so until 2020 I was never registered. I can show buys from 2012 maybe before that, most folks do not stalk forums unless they have a problem. This Elite was a quick way for Marketing to show their "worth" driving traffic to the site. And to get rid of low watt PSUs most folks do not want that are not selling. Seems to be working as planned.

Someone has been doing that about 10 days or so now. I think it's more likely someone who is just tired of reading things not strictly related to the queue. It's definitely overboard, but hooray for anonymity. As for elite or not elite, I mean if they didn't open up 24 hours early, everyone would have been queueing up anyways, personal use or otherwise. I think with the post count portion combined with a more palatable product than a kingpin for most, people are doing what they think is easy. It's just so visible though vs someone going to watch some videos. Kind of like watching a clown car crash into an ice cream truck at the speed of typing. But yea, no drops reported. enewt noted they come later on pre-order days, but today I think the mobo doesn't actually start shipping until next week. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better than expected Friday. It's happened some recently.

The hell is wrong with the drops?? Tuesday we had 2hrs, for the past 2 days - nothing! At least before the queue was moving(even if it was a few minutes, it was still moving). I’m just about ready to give up on a 3897 and just campout microcenter. If the 3080ti comes out before I get a GPU, I’ll sign up within the first few MINUTES to ensure I’ll get a GPU. I’m frustrated because I’ve been waiting for months now and the drops have slowed to nothing - nada, zilch, null, zero, whatever you call it. And then we have EVGA giving cards out to Linus for his bs “verified actual gamer” ploy.

It does seem odd to have such a movement day on Tuesday and then not a straggler for two days. It is almost like they sent the whole shipping department out to get their vaccines or something lol. (no, I do not know that, just a wild guess as to what might take the whole department out of the building for a couple days).

Well, from the tests I've seen, RTX/DLSS fps scales pretty well with 3000-series RT Core count. So by that logic, one could compare as follows: 3060 Ti vs 3060: 38 RT cores/28 RT cores = 136% fps, $399/$329 (yeah, I know) = 121% fairy tale price 3070 vs 3060 Ti: 46 RT cores/38 RT cores = 121% fps, $499/$399 (hurts to see prices that low, eh?) = 125% fairy tale price This makes the 3060 Ti look pretty good. And at 1440p, the 3060Ti RTX/DLSS fps results are decent for the games I'm interested in. So I'll wait. But yeah, I'll be waiting a while, for sure... Matt D.

I do feel a LITTLE bit lucky - I'm moving in July, and there is a Micro Center 20 minutes or so from my new place. Even if it doesn't help with GPUs in the short-term, having it nearby is happy for me and wifey (she's even better with tech than I am).
I do feel lucky that not only do I have a 10-year warranty on my EVGA 2070 Normal, but have my old 1080 stored in an anti-static bag and in box. Backups.

Do you happen to know, or have the ability to look at the MyNotify HTML, and see what your notify position is? Someone was talking about this a few pages back and now my curiosity is piqued as to whether that means anything. I think the flagged as spam spammer has become more obnoxious than 90% of the posts getting flagged. The truth is that elite status now effects potential queue position, which now has everything to do with the notification checkout process going forward for new products. I hope the mods take a hard look at who is doing this, because I'm sure it's the same people (largely person) flagging posts ad nauseum.

I'm definitely hoping that the 3080ti is available for more than a fraction of a second on release day. I figure the elite status will help those who are active but haven't had luck with a 30 series yet.

I’m just about ready to give up on a 3897 and just campout microcenter. If the 3080ti comes out before I get a GPU, I’ll sign up within the first few MINUTES to ensure I’ll get a GPU.
I don't think Microcenter lets people camp anymore. Maybe some do, but some have stopped because people were loitering overnight and failed to disperse when asked. Now they are randomly stocking items during the day which means you have to lurk in the store and hope that you beat the other lurkers when a box is set out. Sounds like fun, right? Also, based on past experience, signing up for an auto-notify at the exact same time that thousands of other people doesn't necessarily mean that you will get a good time stamp. Maybe you will, but it's more likely that the server will bog down and make you wait. When the 3898 launched, a lot of folks who "got in right away" didn't end up getting a time stamp for several minutes. So, if you think you're frustrated now, just wait until the 3080TI launches. I recommend staying far away from this thread for a day or three once that happens. If you think people are being whiny little bytches now, just wait.

Especially when some of the flagged posts are calling out the flagger. Sounds like butthurt to me. Got off the phone with UPS. Apparently the driver doesn't understand what a doorbell is and didn't bother to text or call yesterday or today. So I gave implicit instructions to ring the doorbell or call failing that. I didn't have a lick of common sense in my younger years and I managed to be a much more competent delivery driver. Have to be home for 3rd day in a row waiting for my EVGA CLC to be delivered. Luckily I can do much of my job from home, albeit a bit more slowly.
