Ah come on stop whining about EVGA selling orders to newegg, Amazon and whatever. You guys over at NA at least have progress in your queues. We in EU haven't progressed past 2 seconds on the RTX 3060 queue because EVGA sold our stock to bots on the first day.

You may have the best chance w Zotac Store Drops - yesterday they dropped 50 Trinity 80's. They usually drop everyday
In my experience their site crashes and by the time its up all the bots have pilfered it lol

normally when 3898 is dropping there is no sign of 3897. It's a case of one or the other drops, never both.
So we have to wait for them to take care of this niche product and they start doing the 3897 again.
That's not true. They were both dropping close together back in December and January. February and March have been an exception, but 3898's have only dropped once each month and the drops have been small. 3897's drop almost every week. I don't get why more people who are buried in the 3897 queue didn't sign up for a 3898. It's basically the same card at almost the same price.

did anyone see that the AMD 5600X and 5800X both show in stock on newegg today? I wonder if we're getting anywhere close to saturated on the CPU market, which could help speed up delivery of GPU, but that's probably just wishful thinking.

I didn't sign up for the hybrid because I planned to aircool my GPU. My old case that I planned to reuse wasn't watercooler friendly. Some GPUs use more power inputs too. Lots of reasons other than price to be selective, back when we thought we could be.

I don't think the cpu market has any correlation with the gpu market outside of TSMC 7nm, even then its probably slight changes. The 5700XT launch might help a little if they have enough supply.

Both are near saturation, which in turn has had a few inventory trackers remove them from their notifications.

shoumpavlisDid you guys see the newegg shuffles? Compare the EVGA video card costs to MSI and ASUS. EVGA is way more reasonable price wise than some of the other manufacturers out there. Private vs Public companies. For private companies owner make decisions... for public companies CEO only think about stock price and profit to please stock owners - nothing personal, it's just business.

Sigh. I listed the difference between the 3897 and the 3898 (Watercooling)and then noted a difference among other SKUs. Lots of reasons for people to choose one model of GPU over another is the point. And it isn't moot. But ok.

My response was from person one stating why not sign up for 3898 at same time as 3897, person two said maybe cause power plugs count, hence me saying that was a moot point, I probably should have referred to the person who asked question first when I said that 😅
